I am going to be in Orlando during the last week of June with some coworkers for the National School Nurse Association's annual convention. My boss owns a condo, so I only had to pay for the airfare, convention fees and meals. My husband (who is the true Disney lover) was supportive when this trip was first discussed last year. Now he is very jealous and so I need to vent my excitement with you folks. I just bought discounted tickets through the convention and will be spending half-days at MK and Epcot!!:dance3::dance3::dance3:I am so excited as the original plans did not include visiting the parks. But, I won an online sweepstakes from Better Homes & Gardens in April and so have some $$ to spend that is not out of our shared budget. Also, very good friends of ours will be there at the same time and so I am joining them in MK one evening after the conference. And, I got a postcard two weeks ago with an invite to do an online tour of DVC. I called, did not have to do the actual tour, but received a $40 gift card 5 days later for the inquiry. Whooooo Hooo!! Last day of school is the 17th and heading to Orlando on the 24th. Can't wait!!:cheer2::cheer2:

we went for a convention a year and a half ago and loved the after 4 tickets!!! the crowds were better, enjoy!!!

These are after 2 tickets and were a nice surprise! I was not sure if I wanted to pay full price for partial days.;)

You will really love the convention tix, I personally stay away from morning disney even when paying for all day tix, the afternoon/night weather and crowd wise just seem better. Many would disagree w me but each has thier own plans on ton what time works best for them :) MK and epcot r great w the conv tix b/c they are open late ..... enjoy ur trip! I will be there in 5 weeks....can't wait!!!!!

I am in MA.

I am a bit nervous about one of my park days....I am meeting up with some very good friends who will be there the same week and so am following their schedule. They will be at Magic Kingdom that Thursday and so I will join them around 3 or 4pm. Unfortunately this is an am EMH day which we usually avoid. We plan to stay until Wishes at 11pm, so I hope the crowd thins out. They are dining at Cinderella's Royal Table, but were not able to add me to the reservation, so I will be on my own while they eat. I plan to eat at Columbia Harbour House and maybe check out new Fantasyland during that time. I am really looking forward to it as I have never been alone in the parks!

The other park day will be me and two co-workers going into Epcot around 2:30 and staying until after Illuminations. We chose not to do TS due to $$ and time. I plan to graze around the World and also indulge in a few adult beverages which I would not do if there with my kids.:thumbsup2

We usually plan our trips a year in advance, so it's very exciting to have it be just 2 weeks away!

aww, your plans sound great, have no worries, I'm sure all will work out. we went on a emh day to magic once and the crowd level was fine.

Thanks. And even if it is crowded - a crowded day at Disney is still better than a day at work!

....it is so much fun either way!!! I am soo excited for my upcoming trip, I'm having fun just planning it :)
