It's just the 3 of us, 4 days with park hopper. $700! :faint:

I have to buy for 4 people and we are getting 8 day hopper plus options plus non expire.

That's gonna leave a mark!

The only upside is that this will cover 2 trips and water parks for a 3rd. So next trip I'll be lovin' the fact that I won't be buying passes. Maybe I can convince myself that trip number 2 is FREE. :rotfl2:

I hear ya!!! We are not going until October 2007, but I went ahead and bought mine from Ticketmania before the last price increase. I got 2 adult and 1 child ticket with park hopper for $664.00. This was a good bargain because it was a buy 3 day ticket, get 2 days free(for a total of 5 days). At least that is not an expense I will have next year!!!

But didn't you see the fine print...? By purchasing in advance you saved $6! :rotfl:

Maybe it will help to break it down. You have access to 4 parks that are open at least 8-12 hours per day. So, average 10 hours per day. Times three people. 30 hours per day. Times 4 parks. 120 hours per day. Times 4 days. 480 hours. Divided by $700. Works out to $.69 per hour.

Now do you feel better?! :lmao:

Yes, I am a Disney purist and don't have much bad to say about Disney. However, the prices are getting a little crazy. Of course, because we will still pay it, they'll keep charging it but, they're very close to pricing out many people, if they haven't already. We feel really worried because we're AVID Disney visitors with AP's each year and we're VERY close to being priced out.

However, I got my packet from Universal in the mail, basically showing how cheap their tickets are now.

And by saving $6- that's 1/2 of one refillalbe mug! :teeth:

Thats why we did PAP's this year .

We will go a least 2 times a year once for our normal 7 day June trip and then once in the fall/winter for one of the parties.

SO we will get the AP's everyother year and do a late June then our F/W ( doing both this year) then agian in early June all on the one pass. Then for the next F/W trip we will do US/IOA for those days and start all over again.

It's hard to bring someone with DD because of the ticket prices. Rooms covered and we get air cheap but when you add the cost of a MYW ticket ( + party ticket if they go during that time ) it's just a bit much and I don't feel right to ask for money so DD can have someone along. I between a rock and a hard place on this one.

I am with you. We were so impressed with the deals through South West and the value deal at the POP. It was the only reason we decided to take a last minute trip. Then we had to remember that we had to pay for a four-day hopper for two adults. :headache: Jeez...it was more than the air fare or the room. At least DS is still 2.5 and still gets in free.

Our next trip will be the last our DD(9) will be considered a child for ticket and meal plan purposes. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
