It's kinda sad though, isn't it? This is a great event for someone (the OP), they are now Members and own a piece of the Magic ... and someone else has to come in and post negativity. It's sad.

^ just to be clear, i was basically telling the disappearing poster that i was in the same boat the original poster was, and that if they didnt like it, they could sell. apparently the mods deleted the negative post, which made MY post seem out of place. i certainly hope i did not offend

Nope, not at all!

My reference was to the removed post ... I suppose the mods felt that it was unnecessary as well and that's why it was removed.

Yeah it is sad. I am glad it was deleted. I don't understand why someone would be upset. I called to make a reservation and they said I had my choice, all resorts were available. For my sept trip, I already had booked BC w/free dining and after buying DVC, I decided to start using it immediatly so I canceled my free dining and got a ressie for BCV. For my Jan trip, I figured I can stay at SSR anytime so I wanted to try BWV because I never stayed there before. Oh well, I guess people need something to complain about. Thanks everyone for the welcome.

Congrats! and welcome home! If you love Disney, this will one of the best purchases for you and your future vacations. Our family absolutely love our DVC membership and everything that it offers to us.

We don't understand how hateful and spiteful some of the "older" DVC members hate SSR and anything that's associated with it. But they are the minority here.

FYI - at the pace your booking your trips, you'll be adding on soon!
