We just bought in to AKL!! We are so excited! We would like to hear from other AKL owners.

We bought in back in January and took our first trip "home" as members this past August. We had the best trip ever! We can not wait for next August when we will stay in the new Kidani section!

Our first trip as AKV owners will be in March but we are not sure if we will stay there because we heard they are taking the animals out of the savannah until late spring. I guess we will have to choose a different resort.

There will only be no animals in the sunset savannah. Most of the savannah view rooms in Jambo face Uzima or Arusha savannahs. I'm sticking with AKV and hoping to get one of those.

welcome home. we just closed in september at AKV too. it's killing me that i can't book our september 2009 trip until march since we are using our DPs for the trip--i want to start planning NOW!

Welcome home. We just bought into AKV in June. We used our developer points to stay at SSR the second week of our trip. I really likes it also. I just booked at AKV for June 2009 Kidani. I like the idea of two bathrooms for a one bedroom since we always take a friend of DD's with us. I was worried I would not get a savanah room, but did with no problem.

We just bought at AKV too! We're not taking our first "official" trip home until 2010, but DD's and Me will be there in 21 days as guests of another DVC'er! I can't wait!!
