Several years ago I posted what I thought was a funny story. While I was in Burlington's looking for a new suitcase, I found what I thought was a perfect bag. It was large, pretty, and had wheels. I should have known something was wrong though when it was way up on a top shelf, completely out of reach. After getting a sales rep to get it down, I decided it was the perfect bag, bought it, and proudly took it home. A few days later I went on the airline website, read the maximum allowed size and decided I better measure the bag. Sure my perfect bag was too large, so I sadly took it back. When I took it back, I told the Customer Service desk that since I had to go back there anyway, to just tag it and I'd run it back to the luggage dept for them. Back in the luggage dept I told the sales rep why I brought the bag back and that I needed to find another smaller bag. She said not to worry about it that "he's been brought back several times before, which is why we always keep him on the top shelf". She then yelled out to another sales person, "Homer's back".

It was like this poor bag was some real life orphan that no one wanted. I couldn't believe the sales people had given that suitcase a name.
