Just bought 250 points SSR direct for $135 per point

Just as an FYI, the current incentive for SSR is $50 off per point if you buy at least 250 ($40 off if you buy 200, I think $25 off if you buy 150). With an October Use Year and Magical Beginnings that allowed us to make our first direct purchase for a blue card for $135 per point for SSR, selling back the 2023 points, but getting the full slate of 2024 points. This isn’t quite as good as the OKW deal which we sadly missed, but still isn’t bad, and lets us finally get a blue card and have some points that can be used to book the restricted resorts. I figure we’re paying about a $30 per point premium over resale given the full slate of 2024 points (we broke it up into two contracts, a 100 point contract, and a 150 point contract).

solid price for direct! personally I think SSR can be found for much less than $105pp resale on a contract that has no points till Oct 2024. However, the value of direct is certainly there for anyone who wants.

Yes, if you do magical beginnings and sell back the 2023 points, assuming your use year is August, September, October or December.
