I just booked a cabin with a great PIN We love the ft. but didn't want to tent camp labor day week Can anyone tell me the best cabin locations? We will not be renting a golf cart this time and will need a close bath house with 3 girls and 3 guys. I am sooo excited!

Mine was a letter sent with a special code of numbers that got me 30% off the cabins during Sept. 1st to the 7th. On the letter it gave April dates so I called and they were able to apply it to our Sept. dates. These come in emails as well. Usually only for specific Disney Resorts.

Congrats! I would for sure stay in the cabins if I could get a PIN like that! Maybe someday. Actually, maybe someday I will get any PIN. lol So far, I go mostly unnoticed by Disney, although I did get sent a survey last week, so maybe I've been found and a PIN will soon find me, too.

Aww, thanks for the magic!! (and thanks for following along on my TR...trying to write today's entry but keep getting interrupted and losing my train of thought. lol...mommy brain!)

Yes, even if schedule conflicts arise, do what you can. I will not lie, since we started having personal vacation experiences on our own, we enjoy our family vacations so much more as well as our general home life. Everyone being able to enjoy the things they are interested in without making the whole family do what that person wants when they don't want to helps us to connect more, if that makes sense? Just last night DD and I were talking to DH about this year's trip and she was asking him to come down just for a few days to enjoy F&W and he was only interested once we started talking about the fishing in Bay lake. lol When the kids were really small I thought the only vacations were family vacations, but after doing it this way since the oldest started having scheduling conflicts years ago with sports, we've been doing it like this every since and wouldn't change a thing!

Add a request to your ressie to be put at the front of the 2100 cabin loop. If you refer to the map in our FAQ thread, 2100 backs up to 1100 loop (trailer/rv loop) which has a Comfort Station. So if you are close to the front (main road) of the loop there is a simple sidewalk (less than 50 yards) to the CS.

Who wants to bet if the guys or the girls have to do the walking?

Hi mouse! Congratulations! We stayed at the cabins the beginning of Feb this year- our first ever trip. To be honest- I totally fell in love with the whole place at Fort Wilderness. To the point we just bought a motorhome last week so we can go again hopefully a little sooner than I'd hoped for!!

Does your 30% give you more off than the 30% off they are offering as their "special deal" right now? So you could get 60 %? THAT would be awesome!!

What??? Can you use 2 discounts??? I don't know. I can't imagine getting that much of a discount Im going to call and ask. I just know it was cheaper than the ASMsu. It was also cheaper than 2 rooms at a value. I love the FT. we have stayed their 2xs. One time in the 5th wheel(my Dads) and another time in a tent. I hope to some day have our own and it will be a family tradition. PS...I never thought we would be able to afford the cabins

I have NO idea about the 2 discounts- I'm completely new to all this too! I've never had a pin in my life and probably wouldnt' even know what it was if I got one! But I got excited, just in case you got that much off!! (until I save more money, I have to live thru others)

The 2100 is very good, but we also like the 2500. We ask for 2501 to 2505. It is very close to the Wilderness pool which has a comfort station and a double size laundry. It is also very close to a bus stop.

I understand the money part hahaha. I somehow talk my DH into making the deposit and we make payments. It is the best vacation for our family hands down. We have 18, 15, 12 and 6....so something for all ages
