Just Booked.....WaHoo and YIKES!!

Just booked 7 nights at the Polynesian in January 2013 during value season. We haven't stayed at the Polynesian since 2010 & yikes! Rack rate is $422 on a weekday and $452 on the weekend. And that's for a standard view room!

I'm crossing my fingers even tighter for a discount or we'll be looking into moving to the WL! Come on Pixie dust

Well...this would represent a 4.1% increase in the rack rate for a GV room during value season. I guess we could just count on the 4.1% increase if anyone else is trying to figure out their costs prior to booking.

***P.S. I'm no math wizard, so please correct me if I'm wrong. But the current Poly GV rack rate during value is $405, so wouldn't the $422 rate be a 4.1% increase?

4.2% brings the total from $405 to $422.01. There may be some 4.198% or something at work there.

But good work. I wonder if this will be across the board or just this instance. If only Disney would get on the ball.

I am glad we stayed at Poly in 2010 because the rate has become unjustifiable at this point for me. Maybe I will one day get another great discount there but not counting on it.
