Just booked VB have ??????'s

YEA!!!!!!! Just booked vero beach deluxe studio inn. Now I have a bunch of questions. First are there charecters anywhere??? Next what are some examples of the activities for the kids??? do you pay for these??? What are the activites at night???? What things can you rent for the beach???? What time is check in???? Please help!!!

character breakfast on saturday mornings, Dsis and I did see goofy walking down the sidewalk on a thursday afternoon(we were sitting on our balcony in a inn room). Dsis hollered for him and he posed for a photo.

Activities- no little one's with us but I did notice several activities for children that were listed on the board per day according to age. Some were free and some had a charge. They do have a campfire some nights.They may also have pool activities.

Beach rental- beach chairs, umbrella's, cabana's and water mice and maybe other water toy's.

There are different act. for different ages. You will get a list upon check in. Our DD and friend both 9 did the unbirthday party (free) but they both said it was for little kids. They also did a kids night out of sorts. Games, food and crafts. This one was 30.00 per child it was also 3 hours long. Then we all did the campfire sing along (free) they loved it. As far as the beach goes you can get chairs, cabanas, and umbrellas. You rent them for the day. It cost us 28.00 per day for 2 chairs w/cushions and an umbrella. It is alot of fun. We loved it over Spring Break. That was our first trip and can't wait to go back. Enjoy

We don't have little ones (mine are 20 somethings now) but it appeared that families would have plenty to do at VB!

As for characters....we had an inn studio that overlooked the pool. I am an early riser and one morning decided to go out on the balcony to sip my morning coffee. Lo and behold, Disney was doing a photo shoot with a gaggle of characters at the pool and in the lighthouse! I waved and they all pointed at me and waved back. I rushed around and found my camera and they posed again. It was hilarious. My poor DH had the pillow over his head.

I don't recall seeing characters any other time, but I tend to run the other way when approached (I'm shy I guess).

You will love VB and so will the kids. My son, back in May, did the unbirthday party, and the kids night out and loved them both. The slide is great. Have fun.

We LOVED LOVED LOVED it there and are going back as soon as possible. Very relaxing, lots for kids!
