Just Booked Treehouse for March 24 - 31!!!

Just got off the phone with DVC, and I was amazed that the treehouses were still available for the end of March (24th to 31st).

There will be 6 of us, myself, twin daughters(7), son(10) and my parents. It will be our second DVC trip, our first being last May for Starwars weekend. It wil also be my parents' first trip to WDW since there was only the Magic Kingdom. My kids and I are going on a 4 day Disney Dream cruise immediately afterwards, our first ever cruise.

Any advice for March in the treehouses? I was so amazed they were available, now I'm worrying like there are killer bees there in March and I didn't know about it or something.

I don't know anything negative, and I'm glad for you! We've booked one before our DCL cruise this November. We're trying to decide if it's going to be a good fit for DH, myself and the 5 in our "Boston branch" of the family. If it works for this short stay, we'll be adding on more SSR points. It's great that one was available for you!

That is great getting a tree house at 7 months That is not easy to do. I have not stayed in one yet.
Next June we will be staying in one for 4 days and then going on the 5 day Dream Cruise on June 7th. I can't wait

You will love the Disney Cruise Line.I have been on 3 and they are great. In my opinion none of the other cruises I have been on can compare.

We just got back Aug. 12th and didn't experience any bugs/bees at all. i was prepared with the Off! clip-on things...never even dug them out! But we had rainy bouts, and didn't use the deck at all. Oh well.

We found the THV to be a PERFECT FIT for us...our entire family REALLY liked them. It was my DH and I in the 2nd bedroom, DD/DSIL/DGD (in a PNP) in the master, 24 yo DD in the bunk room, and 21 yo DS on the sofabed.

I THOUGHT we'd have a "bathroom" problem with 4 of us sharing (we're not used to that )...but, nope! Bathrooms worked fine for us!

We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Oh and I was on a WL for 2 days at 7 months when it came through for the THV!!! So, I think reserving one at 7 months is more possible than people think, especially as time goes on.

No, no no. You're suppose to say "THe Disney Cruises are horrible!!!". I can't afford to like them too. I have to have SOME money to live the other 50 weeks of the year.

The treehouses are WONDERFUL. You will have a blast and love it there!

See you there. We're booked at THV from March 27 - April 3. We'll be there for my youngest's 6th birthday. We just became members this spring and this will be our first trip home to SSR. Can't wait! Now to just find a deal on air fare!

Sounds great. Peak time for Easter/Spring Breaks would be in April though, thats when it will get tough to get in.

We are also booked in the THV in November. Will be saying one night (11/6) before going on the Wonder. Upon our return to shore, we will be staying again at the THV for another 3 nights. We are very excited!

I have not yet stayed at the Tree Houses but everything I hear about them is wonderful. I am sure you will have the time of your life. Please tell us all about it when you return.
