I used to go to Disneyland Paris often with my mum, but I haven't been since 2010. For the last 4 years I've been with my boyfriend I've been nagging him about how much I love Disneyland and trying to find cheap deals - in the past I've been so desperate I've even considered hotels in dodgy looking business parks. Unfortunately, even that adds up once you consider travel & park tickets.
Today I decided to go on the hunt again. I found some good deals online but again, cost added up and I closed the tabs. My boyfriend is trying to get a mortgage and my savings are exclusively for driving lessons, tests, car, insurance - the usual grown up stuff! (I'll be 23 at the end of the month!)
My boyfriend decided to help me 'research' when he got home from work (we don't live together, so we worked together on Google Hangouts to find deals) and it seems he's a pro at finding good deals. We managed to get four nights at the Santa Fe hotel, breakfast, park tickets & flights for £380. We split the cost in half so it's £190 each - doable! He's also really happy about the Quidco cashback, heheh!
The trip itself isn't until February 2016 - our fifth anniversary. It seems so long away but gives me plenty of time to mend the hole in my savings!! I have a uni assignment due in on Thursday and my evening has been so exciting I've pushed it to the side - terrible! I'm sure after a good nights sleep I'll be ready to tackle it
But yay!! I'm going!! (and my poor boyfriend has to deal with my excitement for the next 10 months - yeesh!)
