I'm so excited, I just booked July 4-11. I have always wanted to camp at FW, but could not get DH on board. We tent camp and he thinks it would be to hot, well long story short we are borrowing a camper from family that lives in the area. :worship: So I finally get to camp at WDW. I almost had DH talked in to tent camping, but this sealed the deal. :thumbsup2

Now I have a few questions from the experts. Can you have visitors during the day at your campsite? We have family down there and would like to cookout for them one evening. We booked a premium site, that is all they had left on the 4th, if we had come in on the 5th they had some in every category. Which loop is a good premium loop. It will be me, DH, DS16, DD13, and DD11. I think the biggest perk for us would be secluded, more vegetation then less. It would be nice to close to things and be secluded. But I don't know if thats possible. Sorry to ramble, I'll go for now, but I'm sure I'll have more questions. TIA :dance3::goodvibes

Oh welcome! Boy are you in for a treat. FTW will spoil you. ;)

Yes, you can have vistors at your site. You may want to have them all park in the front parking lot next to the main check in and take the bus back to your site, so they can go through the full treatment as parking at the actual sites are limited. I think it's only two vehicles allowed per site.

Visitors are allowed. I would suggest you let the front desk know. They will have to park in the kennel parking lot as they will not give them access to drive inside. So they will either have to take the bus down or you will have to go pick them up.

We always like 400 or the 700 loop since they are close to the settlement area but only a short walk to the meadow area. You also might consider the 500 or the back of the 800 loop. Take a look at the map.

Unlike alot of campgrounds there is vegitation between the campsites. You wont be out in the middle of a field.

Only one vehicle is allowed per site (in addition to your RV, if it is a "vehicle") and golf carts don't count. So, if your camper is a trailer, and you already have a truck at your site (which towed the trailer) you cannot have visitors park at the site. If all you have is a motorhome, then they can park at the site, but you will have to arrange to get them through the gate. Some have reported success just letting the Outpost know and the guests are waved through, or you can meet them up front and use your keycard to get them in.
