Just booked POR with new code!!

Well, we've officially upgrated ourselves as a treat this summer! Me & DBF changed our res at ASMo to Riverside for an extra $209.06! COMPLETELY worth just $200, IMO. We used the ZJZ code (MYW with DDP), and according to the CM I spoke to they don't have it available on any of the values any more, so if any DISers out there are still contemplating on using this code for a mod. book ASAP!! I believe the CM said that POR, POFQ, and Coronado still had availability.
Also, if you get a CM who tells you the code isn't valid, ask for someone else or call back! The first time I called they were trying to convince me no such code would work. The second time the CM had to go verify with someone, then told me I couldn't have it because I already had the free dining promo, which I clearly did not. After finally convincing him that I didn't have any other sort of promo or discount, they were able to put the code through and we have 9 nights at POR for August!

Ok let me get this straight. Can you or can you not use a code when you have "free dining"? My dates are 9/11 to 9/19. I do have the "free dining"!

You cannot add any kind of code to Free Dining. Only one discount at a time. Free Dining is usually the best deal.

That is awesome! So for only $209 more, you get 9 nights at POR?? WOW!

The CMs really need to get on the same page. I think it really reflects poorly on Disney when the story depends on which CM you draw. I called yesterday to see if rooms had opened up so we could change from standard to Boardwalk.....the CM tried and tried and couldnt locate my ressie (I didnt have my conf # with me), but I told him that I had just received the welcome pack from BWI. He kept looking and FINALLY located it.

I just booked yesterday using the same code for the Poly in August and the CM new exactly what I was talking about, she never questioned it.

I agree! We had to call 3 times in order to get a CM that knew what code I was talking about and then she was also able to apply it. We did have to switch from POFQ to POR, but they are practically the same so I didn't mind one bit!

I'm very confused by this new code.....I called and spoke to someone very nice and I felt knowledgeable. She couldnt quote me anything better than I already had with AAA. We have 2 rooms at POP (7 days) 4 day base w/fun park addon, and DDP. AAA was $2850., the new code was $3200. We delined insur. so I know she had that on there for both rooms....I had her look for Mods, Deluxes, only thing she could find was SSR studio...I would have switched to 1 room at Poly if I could get it for a few hundred more....no luck....Am I missing something??? I used ZJZ she seemed familiar with it..

I called on Friday and used the ZJZ code and upgraded my 2 nights at POP to POR for $21.37. I thought that was a super deal However, I really wanted Coronado Springs, not POR, but CM said it was no longer available. I've been trying to book Coronado since Feb. It has been booked due to conventions, then recently opened up, and now its full again??? Oh well, I wasn't really interested in POR, but I understand its a beautiful resort and $20 more, how could I pass it up?

POR is beautiful, I think you'll really like it. Don't give up on Coronado if it's your #1 though.. you never know what could open up, especially for just 2 nights!
