Just booked our vacation!!!!! Sooooo excited!!

Hello Everyone!

I’m so excited I just booked our DL vacation for May through Get Away Today! Got a great deal. Total paid was $1490 for 2 adults and 2 children and that includes a 6 night stay (5th night free), 5 day park hoppers, premium character dinning, and 1 regular character dinning. We are staying at the Del Sol which is right across the street and includes free breakfast/parking.

I am so so so excited and I just had to share with my disboards family since you all can understand the EXCITMENT!!!


Now I need to calm down so I can have a productive day.

Thanks everyone! I've been dreaming of all things Disney this afternoon! I sent my husband a text at work letting him know we are booked and he was thrilled! It is going to be hard keeping this a secret from my boys, because every 5 seconds they are asking about DL I m thinking of a clever way to surprise them.

Congrats!! i just booked my family's trip for June. My kids (DD 22 and DD 17 almost 18) are so excisted along with DH.

Thanks everyone for sharing in my excitement! It's so nice to be able to post here and have people understand just what it means to go to DISNEYLAND!!!!

I was telling my DH last night that we have a little over 3 months until DL and we both got these cheeky little grins on our face. There is a part of me that is sooooo anxious and excited about the trip that I wish we were leaving like next week!! The other part of me is thankful that we have another 3 months to go because it gives us something to look forward to, because I know that once it's over it will be at least another year before we return. Do you all get what I mean?

Thanks! I'm not quite sure how to surprise the boys yet. Last time we went to DL we told them we were going to the my Uncle's ranch for vacation. We told them we had to stay over at a hotel(Sheraton) because the drive was too long and once we arrived we told the boys to come out onto the balcony and once they saw DISNEYLAND the screaming and jumping up down began

I am open to suggestions. I was thinking of starting a thread to get some help.

Yeppers! I know exactly what your talking about. I do think it is wonderful that there are other Disney addicts out there besides myself, and completely understand how wonderful it is to be so totally nuts over a theme park. I believe that everyone should have a Disney experience once in their life, and when someone starts planning a vacation and tells you about it, you literally crawl out of your skin for them. I bet you probably ramble off a hundred miles an hour of things they need to see, do and eat, where to stay, which airport, etc. That's why Disboards is amazing. You get so much help here by other wonderful crazy Disney Fans, that you pick up new insider info all the time as they are buzzing to tell you.

As for waiting 3 months, it is a good thing. That way you have a little bit more time to wait with anticipation. Thats half the fun.
