I booked 6 nights in a Dedacated 2 bed 2 Queen at BCV for our March Spring Break 2009!!!

Thankfully it is Not PEAK Spring Break.

Of course frlights down will be at peak prices from here -sigh-

I had orignailly wanted to book day by day, since a portion of the counrty has that week off, but totally flaked it with everything else that is going on in life, and was happy to have no issues booking the whole week today.

Last time we stayed at the BCV, the kids were too young to fully enjoy the pool! We hope to make the most of it this trip!

Anyone know the locations of the Ded 2 Queen rooms are? Thanks Bunches!

Congratulations!
My spring break will begin Sat. March 21st next year. Is that your time too? For most of the time, I'll be at BWV with friends, but haven't booked that yet.
Don't know where those rooms are...we have one of them in November that will be our first "all family" stay there!

Yup, that's our break... it's always that week in March. This year is sucked since it was the same as Easter Week, but most of the time it's not so bad. Although I wonder how WDW will be....

I have a year to wait and see :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

We will end the trip, as always, with 2 nights at the HRH and hit US/IOA.

The only thing good about this years spring break was that for me, it was after Easter, and I was out of the "giving things up for Lent" mode, and I could eat the candy they gave each night on our cruise. We tend to alternate, year in Florida, year on Cruise. Usually DH is with me, but he has 9 fewer vacation days this year, from here on in, his company was sold, so I invited DSis and some friends to join me.

Enjoy those other places too! If we have a car, I would like to go to the Disney Conservation area that was mentioned in the DVC magazine. Once we tried to find it, but we got lost.

We're planning our first spring break trip next year as well. We're hoping for early march. Do you think we will have any luck at all booking anywhere other than OKW? We're SSR owners who just visited OKW (and loved it) recently and would like to try something new. Happy planning Laurabearz and Bobbiwoz!

If you have an early March Spring Break, I would say there is a good chance you can book other resorts at the 7 month window. Give it a shot! :thumbsup2

We are going for Spring Break in March as well, but ours here in Alabama will be March 14-21, so we are a week earlier. We currently have a reservation at our home of SSR, but I may try for OKW to save points.

One other thought. Do you think that if the Savannah View rooms at AKL facing Sunset Savannah are going at the Standard Point Rate (since the animals are supposed to be off at that time) you could actually specify and book that? That would be a point savings as well...

You'll love OKW. I fell in love with that resort. We had building 46 with a water view and I could have stayed on that balcony forever.

And thanks Laurabearz. I will definitely give it a shot. We haven't stayed at VWL, BCV, or AKV yet so that will be great if we can book one of those.

Already love it. We stayed on Millers Rd (Bldg 18) last September for MNSSHP.

We just returned from a week at BCV in a dedicated 2-Queen villa on April 6. We were in Room 304. It's a dedicated 2-Queen although it doesn't show as such on the web site mentioned above. Room 304 had a nice view of the Quiet Pool and wasn't far from the elevators. Only negative was the carpeting which was badly worn. I would think it would be replaced by next spring.
