Just booked our first Disney cruise!!!

I'm happy to say that I just put a whopping $1250 down on our first Disney cruise! I'm so excited but sooo nervous. We don't sail until 4/30/05. How can I wait that long? I guess I'll be a regular on the cruise line board now.

I don't know how you'll wait that long- but looks like you have a WDW trip to tide you over! LOL We had as long as you before our first cruise... 2/5/2005... but time is going pretty fast I guess.
You'll be under 400 days in no time! Congratulations on booking your first cruise!

I too only started "lurking" on this board last week and I'm glad I did. I always thought booking a cruise at the last minute was the way to go for discounts. Luckily I found out before the prices were way too much.

We booked our 5/15/04 cruise in April of 2003. The time goes fast. I have been on these boards almost daily since we first booked. It is very helpful and very addictive. This board has the kindest and most helpful people. Don't worry, your time will come.

I'm sure the closer our trip gets, the more(if that's possible) I'm going to be on here, asking questions. I'm going to know my way around the ship before I even get on it

I am sure you will have a great time...Half of the fun is in the planning...But I think I have you beat. We want to crusie July of 2006 and are just waiting for DCL to open up the dates!! After that it will be two years of long waiting. So maybe we can help each until our cruise dates come...other than that the best place to spend your free time will be on this board learning about your trip.

I'll try not to complain about mine then I'm kind of glad we have a wait... it'll give me time to research stuff and have an idea of what we want to do on our trip. I have a few ideas (courtsey of this board) of things NOT to miss, Palo's for brunch and Rainforest spa for sure. I can'wait I can't wait I can't wait

Just wanted to say hi! We're on the south shore of LI, actually directly south of you! My brother and his family live in Selden!

I booked our cruise last February..so I know the wait is hard, but these boards are FABULOUS!

Which cruise are you doing? 3/4/7, Eastern, Western?

NYDisneyMom- We booked the 7 day Eastern sailing. I always look for other LIer's on these boards. It's so funny when you find someone who lives or knows someone who lives in your town. I might even know your brother and his family!


I guess the year will go fast and there are people who have longer waits than we do. We can just pass the time on these boards and absorb as much info as our brains can hold about DCL.
