Hi

I just booked 5 days at OKW before Christmas. 2nd DVC trip - but I waitlisted a room at BWV. Does anyone have opinions on which resort is nicer at Christmas? I had wanted to stay at WLV at Christmas but we were just there and the points are cheaper elsewhere. Also, I've never been to DW around Christmas - what holiday things are there to do?

We go every year to OKW at Xmas and one thing that is great is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the MK. One thing they do at OKW is people bring there Xmas lights and decorate the balconies. Another thing is to visit the different resorts to see the decorations some are spectacular. Epcot has a Xmas tree lighting each night well worth visiting. There are so many things to see at Xmas you will love them all!

We also love the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. It is the prettiest and really gets you in the real Christmas Spirit. Also all of the lights at the MGM.

At the parks the theming is grand. At the Boardwalk they spare nothing in decorating the lobby to look like a childs fantasy old fashioned Christmas. It was funny though when we went for thanksgiving and the day after thanksgiving all this Christmas stuff was appearing. It was fun though, it got us in the spirit and we had a wonderful trip. Any of the resorts will be beautiful at Christmas time. I also imagine that the parks will not be so crowded a few weeks before the holidays because us teachers and all the kiddies will still be in school!!!! Take care and have fun planning, Tammy

We were at OKW the first two weeks of December last year, and loved it. The decorations all over Disney are wonderful, even if it is missing real snow! We enjoyed the "soap suds snow" on Main STreet and also at MGM New York street for the opening of the Osborn Family lights each night. The Osborn lights are incredible! We also enjoyed the Candlelight processional, but be sure to reserve it early!
