Just Booked October 2011 w/Free Dining!

I just wanted to post here quick because my perusal of this board gave me the impression that the two "Game On" emails I've gotten are worthless and that there is no free dining available (yet) for October 2011.

However, tonight we decided to call anyway and see what my email could get us. The email offer was valid only for September (and said "Stay! Play! Dine!"), but it said to call to find out about other dates/lengths of stays. It did have a 15-digit PIN on it.

We are looking at October dates and are especially interested in free QS dining (for Food & Wine snacks!) Turns out that this "Game On" email was WAY better than I thought. Free dining through November! No blackout dates in October at all!

We're not sure if we're taking the trip, but we went ahead and booked (at Pop) for now, as we have several weeks to decide if we want to change/cancel it.

I'm fairly sure that I got the emails because I saved some (October) itineraries on the disneyworld.com site last month.

I hope so!!!! I am booked the 16-21st (blackout dates) and have tic to the halloween parade so I can't change my dates. This is what I need, I have some saved offers so hopefully I will get one!

That's wonderful! Do you know if it could be used for moderate or deluxe resorts? I have the free QS for Nov pin, but we are hoping to splurge to stay in a deluxe.

I hope you get one too! We had annual passes in 2010 (so, no PINs) and have not gotten any PINs in 2011. Since we were thinking of maybe going back for F&W this year, I plugged in some itineraries on wdw.com and, sure enough, got a "game on" email w/PIN a few days later. Then got another one (same email) a few weeks afterwards. I would say, if you don't get one, maybe go play with your saved offers or make new ones and if you don't see anything in a few days, call and ask if you have any PINs/offers attached to your name for your dates. Good question! We were so surprised that we didn't ask. (And our budget for this potential trip is a "value" budget). I would guess it probably applies to mods and deluxes, though, based on how these offers usually work. And it would probably be the full TS dining plan with deluxe. You could call and give your PIN and ask what it covers, like we did. However, my advice would be to book a deluxe as a room-only ressie and find a room-only discount to apply (% off, if it becomes available, or AAA discount or whatever you can get). Then, pay for the dining plan (and tickets) separately. I say this because you can usually save more money on a deluxe ressie w/room-only discount than the dining plan costs (unless maybe you have a large family-FD could possibly come out close then). I have posted numerous times telling people to call and check when they recieve the game on pin# for specific dates , that it just may cover more dates than mentioned.

DH had rec'd one back in Feb with the dates of 12/1 to 12/22 and I almost tossed it out in fact I did toss it aside for like a week or so then I called and bingo turned out it was good from Oct 18- Dec 22
