Just booked my first PS...EXCITED!!!

I was not planning on booking any PS's. Yes, I know this sounds odd. DD7 has ADHD and has a hard time sitting for more then a few minutes so I figured counter service would be easier for her, and cheaper for me.

Well, didn't I let her watch the WDW video. I'm sure you are all aware, it highlights character dining (among other things). DD7 saw this and mentioned it would be nice to dine with Goofy and Pluto (her current favourites). I told her that it would cost too much $$ and she never mentioned it again.

I was afraid that it would be too late to book a PS but I called dining and just booked us at Gulliver's at the Garden Grove.

Has anyone eaten there before, if so, what can you tell me about it? I mentioned to dining that I will be celebrating my birthday that night as well. I just want to make this night special for my family (DH, DD7,DS4). They ask for so little.

I can't wait to see the kids surprised faces when Goofy and Pluto come over to say hello.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't eaten at that one so can't help you out there but it is so nice to have characters come to you instead of waiting in line.

Sorry ... can't help you with the restaurant, but have a wonderful time. Character dining is awesome! You and DH will enjoy it just as much as your kids! We went to our first character meal when DD was 6 months old ... we've been "hooked" ever since!

Does anyone know if this restaurant has some type of activities for the kids. ie. like the Pooh Bear parade at Crystal Palace; the "napkin song" at Chef Mickeys; broomball at O'Hana?

Oh, and definitely have an autograph book, or some little notebook for each of the kids for the characters to sign.
