I couldn't believe it was available. Savannah view as well. I have been to the main lobby of AKL several times but have never even seen Kidani! I have heard great things about the one bedroom layouts. They look great on the pics I have seen. And the two bathrooms will be super nice.

Any advice regarding location request? Should we go for a certain floor? Any other tips?

Congratulations! You will love it. We enjoy staying there. Many people like to request a room near the lobby as the hallways are long. We always have our own car so that isn't an issue for us. Parking is under the building so it is very convenient. We ask for a room near the pool because that is where we spend a lot of time.

Thanks for the tips. We too will have a car so that's good information. Didn't realize the parking was so convenient.

Kidani is a great resort. If you are expecting a grand entry with soaring ceilings, pillars and fountains, you may be a little disappointed. The lobby at Kidani is beautiful, but understated. The gift shop is small, but adequate. The bus service is excellent. The savanna views from everywhere in the resort are fantastic, but generally no better than the views from your private balcony. The pool area is a beautiful oasis. If you don't eat at Sanaa, you are making a big mistake or are a very picky eater.

You will not be sorry that you chose Kidani! Enjoy the serenity!

I made my reservations for Sanaa! Any particular thing on the menu I should get?

You must get the bread service. You can now get it with all 9 dips, which would be a good way to find out which you like. I am into spicy food, so I usually get the Slow-cooked pick two and have the spicy durban chicken and the beef short ribs with the basmati rice. They do have less spicy options, but it is hard to find a really good spicy dish at WDW and the durban chicken is awesome!

We just had our first meal at Sanaa and it was excellent. On our waiter's suggestion, we had the bread service with the 9 sauces and then we all had the same thing (no creativity there) the butter chicken and the short ribs. Dessert was very good too, I had a sampler thing.

I think you will love the resort. It was our 2nd time at Kidani, but the first in a 1 BR and for more than a few days. Overall, a great resort.

At Kidani, I like to request being near the bus stop. Our last two trips, we were very close to the elevator that takes you down to the door you walk out for buses. That door is also very close to the lobby.

Thanks for the tip! I'm getting very excited!!
