As df 'does' Disney to keep me happy I have booked him a suprise one night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel!

We have a Delux King Bed room on the 5th October.

This Hotel will be right up DF street and I cant wait to tell him!

Also we have a day at IOA planned for the day we check out so hopefully will have FOTL access all day :goodvibes

Last year we stayed, half way through our holiday, at HRH for 2 nights. It was so cool that this year we are going for 5 nights at the end of our holiday. Be warned that once you have been there you will end up booking again :teeth:

Hi Jodie :sunny: We've done exactly the same thing in July and can't wait! With the demise of the fastpass I added up how much it would cost for 2 days Express Passes, and for seven of us it would have been $700!! :confused3 For $500 we've got 2 rooms for one night and all the benefits of staying on site - result! :thumbsup2

You will love it Jodie, this place is fantastic! We went last year and will be going again in September. I was open-mouthed at everything! And front of the line is just the best, you feel sooooo important :cool2:

No longer a suprise!

And no, I didnt cave in and tell him (that would have broken even my record!)

In the 5 mins between booking, recieving email confirmation, printing email then deleting email.......Gavin read it!!!!!!!

He tried to squeeze it out of me on Wednesday night then fit to burst on Thursday night he asked me outright ' did I have any special plans for our holiday?!', When I denied all knowledge of any special plans he admited seeing the email  He was ghuffed though!

I don't think so - but if you register now it means you can register your details and receive things like priority check-in, complimentary welcome gift (such as fruit, cookies, water etc) and complimentary newspapers. You are also more likely to be upgraded and can enter room preferences.

Thanks, I applied for one and got my number but have no way pf loading onto my reservation as cant access once email deleted (which I did to try and avoid DF seeing it!)

I am not cheeky enough to give it when checking in! But on the plus side I would have saved any $$ on the actual room :teeth:

Hi - Just catching up on this thread. Its worth calling through the number to add to your reservation. We got a lovely free bottle of chilled white wine last year and a pool room upgrade when we stayed at RPR for 1 night. Staying 2 nights at HRH this July and hoping for something similar...... fingers crossed!!!!

I appreciate your bit of advice Lynn, we have just booked for the RPR for next year and I applied for a card (got a number) through your link. Nothing to lose by using it. I don't know if you can use if when you going by a package (Virgin) but will give it a shot.
