Ok, at long last we are going to stay at FW.
We booked a cabin for Dec. 2006, my college graduation celebration.

Lots of questions...
Do we really need a golf cart? Or can we walk or use the bus system in the campground?

Campfire and movies? Do they happen year round?

Christmas decorations? What are they like at the check in area and can we bring some for our cabin? Has anyone ever done that before?

Has anyone ever partiicpated in the horse back riding or the carriage rides? My DM wants to try the carriage ride and my DH wants to try horse back riding.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I am so excited :cheer2: :cheer2:

A cart is not a requirement, but can make a stay more enjoyable. I usually suggest taking a day off from the parks and staying in the campground. A cart for that day would be nice

Yes, the only change is the time to account for darkness

The decorations are not a great as they were years ago, but they are still very nice. You will find folks decoration both their cabins as well as campsites

The horeseback riding is a trail ride led by a guide. if your DH has lots of riding experience he may be disappointed. The carrage ride is very relaxing at the end of a busy day.

Thank you so much. DH has never tried horseback riding so knowing that it is a guided experience is great help.
We will definitely do the decorations on the cabin.
Thanks again.
