Just Booked - Food and Wine Opening Weekend 2008

I just did something I NEVER do... I booked 11 motnhs early... Got a 1 bedroom at the BCV for Opening Weekend of Food and Wine 2008 (4 nights!)

Good for you! I just confirmed with DH and DCuz that we'll be at Pop/BCV during the last long weekend in October...just waiting for the 11 month window now.

I am planning on booking my home resort AKV at 11 months, then trying at 7 months for BWV. We will be there Oct. 12-16. I am hoping there is some pixie dust working for me at 7 months.

Here you go! I am going to try and do the same...booking AKV for Oct 9-14 and try to change to BCV at 7months!

Just booked today a 1 bedroom concierge at AKV 9/29-10/3! I am so excited! This is our 10 year anniversary trip, first time at our new home, and first time ever in concierge!

I'm just thrilled to actually stay at a home resort for once!!!!!!! The last time I stayed at either BW or BC was about 4 years ago!

However, I might end up canceling my reservation depending on what we decide to do during the year...

Well, we or I should say I had it all planned to book at BWV for Nov 08. But now my DW has informed me that she may not want to go then but maybe March of 09. We enjoyed the F&W and SuperSoap weekend the last time we went and would love to go again.........I guess I'll have to wait and see.

We are hoping to go to F&W in a few years and would really want to stay at BCV; however, we don't own at BCV - we own VWL. We'll most likely want a 2 BR when we do go - what do you think the chances would be of getting a 2BR at BCV at the 7 month mark? I know the studios go really fast and probably the 1BR's next, but just wondering about the 2BR. We plan on taking some friends with us so we'd like the extra room.

I just made a reservation at BWV for 9/28 - 10/3. I have to wait 'til next week to call for a room at BCV for 10/5 - 10/10. This is the first time we're using our BWV points for F&W. Let the countdown begin!
