Just booked flights!!It wouldn't be me if it went smoothly....

Hi all,

Need some advice!

Just booked my flights with Virgin. I found the flights through sky scanner and booked them through budgetair.ie.

They were €636 per person - Dublin, Manchester -Manchester, Orlando.

Thats all great, however........eeek the ticket I have got from budgetair.ie has all the correct names and details as I entered them BUT when I log into my Virgin atlantic manage my booking my name has a MRS in front of it im Ms. And also my first name and second name dont have a space between them this is the same for my dad but my mum is fine.

For example: Mrs. Maryann Bloggs instead of Ms. Mary Ann Bloggs

Mr. Johnjoe Bloggs instead of Mr. John Joe Bloggs

Im so freaked out because I submitted the details with budgetair.ie correctly and on the e-tickets with budgetair.ie ALL of the details is correct.

Should it be ok????

Yes it's fine , my name with virgin is always shown as petera a is my middle initial. I fly about 8 times with virgin and it's never been a problem.

I had the same panic with United last year! They put me as Ms instead of Mrs and then put my whole name joined up together & if checked, double checked & triple checked before submitted & paying. But it didn't matter my tickets printed out completely normal at the airport, I think it might just be the way they are displayed online sometimes but I've never used budget air so maybe double check xx

I was exactly the same double and triple checked everything before booking!! Im now guessing its just showing up online like that as it is ok on the e ticket!

They are only interested in your first name and surname, they must be exact, they don't require a 2nd name. As for MRS, MS MISS etc they are used simply to determine male or female and all are legally meaningless.

Yes, perfectly normal and also, don't worry about titles - your passport doesnt have a title. Only a gender

Another silly question! I went into my booking and I can't choose my seats, I remember from last year that it was 90 days out. Is this still the case?
I thought that as they were bringing in a charge per seat that I should be able to assign it right away?
