Just booked first trip!

Hi I've booked my first ever holiday to WDW
I just come to say hi as i will be visting this broad often to get tips from all the experenced WDW visitors.

Well i will ask my first Question today. I have booked for 1 week at All Stars Music was just wondering if anyone else has stayed here if they can tell me what its like, just need to be reassured i have made a good choice.
My daughter will be 4 at the time we go

The Allstars are fantastic hotels! I have stayed at Movies 3 times which is pretty much the same as Music. The hotels are big, clean, have brilliant swimming pools and theming and very convenient as the WDW transport buses take you straight to the parks. You and your daughter will love it!

You can't really go wrong with staying at any WDW resort - you can not beat the experience and convenience of staying on site

September is also a great time to go - great weather and low crowds.

Hi - we have never stayed on-site but as Tim says September is a good time to go, especially crowd wise.

It will still be pretty hot weather wise but you have a big advantage in staying at WDW.

If you have any questions, you have certainly come to the right place to ask.

Congratulations on booking your first trip to the most exciting place in the world!! Me and my DH stayed in the All Star Music on our first trip to Florida. It is a great place to stay, and I have very fond memories of it. There are big pools, a shop and a great food court selling all kinds of hot and cold food. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the transportation is very handy.

I love going in September, the weather is hot but not too hot, and the crowds are low.

Welcome to the board Wideeyes.

As all have said, the All Stars are great resorts and the convenience of staying on-site cannot be beaten. The Disney transportation system is excellent.

Just a slight note of caution about September, you could get some rain. Don't worry, it should be hot and sunny most of the time, but I just want you to be prepared for all eventualities.

I love September - it is very hot and as Kev says above you can get rain (usually in the afternoon for say an hour), but the crowds are low but it's fantastic for swimming

I have not stayed at All Star Music but have stayed the All Star Movies and it is great! Lots to see and do there and lots of "Disney" touches I expect your daughter (and you) will adore.

We have just come back from 2 weeks at AllStar Movies, and it was fantastic.
We were slightly wary about going to a 'value' resort, but as soon as we walked into our room, we new we had made the right choice.

The rooms are comfortable and clean and the resort isn't as big as you think.
And everything has that Disney 'Magic' . The hotels are as clean as the parks, and the attention to detail (even for a 'value') is unreal.


You have definietely made the right choice!!!!

We've stayed at the All Star Music and the All Star Sports. Both were great, though my first choice would be the All Star Music.

We all had a great time at both.
