Just booked February 2016!!

Made some more dinning reservations, the day we check in I got us all booked at Trails End for supper. I figured after all day driving and setting up sites it would be better on us instead of cooking dinner.

:scared1: A 2-day pass in 1979 was $17.75? OMG :jumping3: Bama Ed

Awesome shirts! Just 38 days from departure for us, I have the truck and started to put all the "stuff" back in the truck today. I have one box of large items like winter blanket, gel seat cushion that I might not need in this truck, flash lights, etc. Tool box, back rack, bed stuff and wiring will be done on Saturday. After that the truck should be all set the next thing I will need to do is finish cleaning out the RV from Christmas, prep and pack the RV. 38 days sounds like a lot of time, but it goes quickly I tell you.

Yeah jbrostek, sounds like you have a lot to do! You don't realize how much stuff you keep in your truck until you trade or do a good clean out. I'm not looking forward to washing and cleaning up the camper.

We have done supper at Trails End arrival evening this last trip and agree it was a good idea and will be done again.

Yeah that was cheap back in 79, I wasn't even though of then! Haha! Wish it was still that cheap. I thought it was neat that they held on to that and wanted to share it.

We were going to have dinner at Trails End one day, might as well do it that day, make it a little easier after a day on the road.

I think cleaning out the truck took more work then loading up the new one. Since I sorted through it all already its pretty much just finding a good place for stuff. The work that will take some time will be reinstalling the back rack, the tank/box, installing the OEM up fitter kit and rewiring the work lights and beacons.

The camper is thankfully not that much of a disaster since I cleaned it out after racing season ended. Just need to unload all the Christmas stuff that has been there since, wash the bedding, vacuum and then start loading it for the trip. Caren and I where talking last night about just that, who will do what to prep for the trip and started out shopping list of perishable and non perishable items we will need.

I gotcha jbrostek, the up fitters make life a lot easier, I have mounted some LED offroad lights in my from bumper, the prewired up fitters made it easy to wire. I have a aux tank too, it makes a big difference. I would get some beacons I'd I knew they would help make people move out of my way! Haha. What date are yall checking in at the Fort?
