Just Booked Dolphin!!

Woohoo - Doing the happy dance because I just booked Dolphin Resort for a week next June and got a Gov't rate of $129/night. Really looking forward to staying within walking distance of my favorite park - Epcot. Got a standard King room. Can't wait, first trip with my wife without any children, since ours have all grown up now. Grown daughter (23) is making grumblings about us leaving her behind, but you know what I'm not feeling the slightest bit quilty. I've put two kids thru college, now it's time for us to have some fun. Lookout WDW, here we come.

I am so jealous! Everybody seems to qualify for govt, teacher's, nurse's rates at the S/D, but we don't qualify...was too expensive so we are staying at AKL standard view with AP discounts...lucky you!!!

Have you ever tried the Swan? I think DH and I would try that next because we hear it is a little more geared to adults with no kids (we don't have any yet)...

We thought about the Swan, but chose the Dolphin because the dining options in the Dolphin appealed to us more than those in the Swan (even though I know it's easy to walk between the two). Plus the Dolphin just looks really neat to me (especially the Lobby).
