just booked. dining question

hello all. ive been reading some posts about free dining. i just booked for oct. 13-19 with the deluxe dining plan. are there ever discounts or free dining for the deluxe plan? im so confused on how this whole thing works. TIA!

Not usually for the Deluxe Dining - you will probably have to upgrade (pay the difference) between whatever is being offered for your resort catagory to the Deluxe Dining Plan.

Disney has offered Counter Service or the Regular dining plan (depending on which resort you're booking), but not the deluxe plan as part of free dining offers.. However, you can upgrade by paying the difference between the free dining plan and the deluxe plan.

Also, not all dates or resorts/room categories are included in the free dining offers. In 2011 mid-October was not included.

Free dining offers typically require the room at rack rate, minimum 3 night stay and 2 day tickets for everyone in the room 3 years old and up.
