Just booked DC 6/21!

I just booked DC for 6/21 and thank goodness I did...we must have snagged the last spots! There was only one other day open during our stay and we already have plans for that day. Looks like June is filling up fast! Thanks for all of the reviews and ideas! (I think...that was a lot of $$$)

We'll be going on May 24th; everything is set aside to be boxed up to send down to my Dad since this is a surprise trip for my DDs and I only want carry-ons. They have no idea - it's been so hard keeping this to ourselves

I would love, love, love to see photos and/or video and read another review. We're really on the fence about DC (because of the cost, plus we don't have a car, so I'll have to figure out how to get there), so any information will really be helpful in making my decision!

June dates are all open now...except the 28th and the 30th.

I did notice a week ago on the website it was showing quite a few dates in mid-June all booked up.

Wonder why there are openings now?!

I don't know for sure, but my guess is that it has something to do with the Book Early and Save promotion, which runs until June 30th and then starts again after summer. Reservations for that promo have to be made at least 45 days in advance and I believe there is a limited # of those promotion reservations.

If anyone knows otherwise, please do tell!

They opened up the summer to the Book Early & Save prices. I know this because I noticed it online last night for our date in August and was surprised. It didn't show up before except at the full price, but I called today and booked it with the discount!

Just wondering if your date is on/after August 18?? That's when promo dates are advertised online. (Now-June 30 and August 18-December 18). Sorry if I misled when I said after summer--I just knew I booked in plenty of time to get it in June! Perhaps DC did open up more availability dates

Nope -- August 3rd. It wasn't available when I first checked the website so I called looking for ANY kind of discount, AMEX, AAA, anything and they said "no". Then yesterday I checked again and ALL of Aug is available with the discount. I can't tell you for sure that it changed, but it did change for me.
