Just booked Cypress Pointe Resort....

Does anyone know what a studio at Cypress Pointe consists of? Does it have a kitchen area also.. or living room??? Thanks!

Hi Valentine,

I believe a 1 bedroom at Cypress Pointe Resort is just like a regular hotel room with no kitchentte. Id does have a King bed and roman tub. Take a look at this link:

The Grande Villas have a 1 bedroom that does have a kitchenette. Hope this helps!

We stayed in a 3 br at Cypress Point last month.

Pros: Your basic timeshare resort. Nice interior, spacious, well equipped with large screen TVs, stereo, dvd player, etc. Close to DTD and several stores. On the same Rd as an outlet center and fairly close to the parks. Pool was heated and clean, dd loved the slides and volcano.

Cons: Exterior hallways were a mess, but they were painting them. No elevators and 30 odd steps up to our third floor villa. The main bathrooms are open to the bedroom with the toilets tucked behind the garden or jacuzzi tub. The giant mirror faced the toilet and the room, so if someone else is in the room with you there is no bathroom privacy. There is a half empty plaza across the street and that was our view. (building 2) They only have security checking cars on check in days between certain hours. It may be just my perception, but I didn't feel as safe there as I do in a Disney resort. I also found a HUGE cockroach on our first night in our shower as did my sil in hers. They came and sprayed and we didn't see any more. I take that with a grain of salt as it is FL., but sil flipped out.

Although I've listed more cons, we'd stay there again if we got it for a bargain price through Hotel Kingdom, but I'd never pay over $100 a night.

I am seriously thinking about choosing this resort for our next trip. We stayed on I 92 last trip and took the Lynx buses around the whole city. Loved every minute of it. If you go to the main road I 4 is this on a bus line. Do not want to rent a car at all!! How close is it really to DTD? Someone said it was within walking distance. Doesn't look this way on the maps. Taxi travel is good too. Thanks for the photos of the rooms. It's going to be great to spread out even more.

After long hours of searching for a place to stay that was big enough for our family of 6, I came across CPR and couldnt believe the prices !!!! I just booked today and am so excited !!!! We booked a 3 bdrm for $89.99 a night during 4th of July ,I dont think I could get into the Holiday Inn for that price !!!

I just booked Cypress pointe for a 3 bedroom villa for our family of 6 for the $89 rate for the first week of August. I am so excited about getting this rate. The place looks like just what we were looking for. I am just as excited that we got airfare for all 6 of us from pittsburgh to Orlando (roundtrip) for $863 total through hotels.com. Now I just need to rent a mini van and get the disney tickets.

Yeah, its amazing the way the price doesn't vary by season, does book up quickly so anyone on the fence should make reservations. The price will only go up and its easy to cancel if something comes up. With the rehab its really amazing what you get for less than some city's best westerns. There are some privacy issues with the master bathroom but to get a HDTV with surround sound, brand new couches and carpet, a large jacuzzi ....... for that price and location, just a great deal to me.
