Hi I just booked a 3 Bedroom Villa at the Cypress Pointe Resort for March thru hotelkingdom.com..It cost $100 a night with tax inc..
Can anyone tell me about the 3 Bedroom Villas? Are the rooms nice? Lot's of space? Did I get a good price? Will six of us be comfortable? How are the pools?
Any info would be appreciated!
Thank You,Debbie

I hope Sammi doesn't mind my posting a link to her pictures that she posted in another thread recently:

I think the pictures look very nice and we are considering a stay in a 3 bdrm here too. I think it's a great rate for March, especially for a 3 bdrm. We're considering a trip in either April or Dec...please post your experience when you return. Hope you have a great trip! :D

We've booked a 2 bedroom for the end of April. If you go to tripadvisor.com, it's listed at Sunterra Cypress Pointe and it received good reviews. Let us know how you like the place.

Wow,Thank you for the info and the pictures! It looks so nice! I went to trip advisor and they have a lot of good reviews posted for this place! I'm very happy with the pictures (very nice,Thank you!) and the reviews (Yeah!)...
I will definitely write a review about our experience at Cypress Point (and our 3 Bedroom Villa) when I return!

We are staying in a 3 bedroom unit at Cypress Pointe at the end of January.
We did alot of searching trying to find accomodations. We decided on Cypress Pointe and are quite happy with our choice. For the price, location and amenities, I think that it is a good deal.
We don't get back until Feb. 15th, but we will be sure to post a review.

We are going to be staying at Cypress Pointe in April. We have a two bedroom condo and cannot wait to get there. Does anyone have sugestions on what to bring such as dishwasher soap, paper towels etc. What does the condo supply???

Thanks alot,

Heidi :earsgirl:

We were there 3 yrs. ago, and all that comes to mind is dishsoap next to the sink. My brother-in-law will be staying there for a couple of days next week- if he calls, I will ask him. He returns from FL on the 19th, will definitely ask when he returns!

We get to join the ranks of the "booked"! DH and I finally made the decision to go in April, and we just booked a 3 bdrm at Cypress Pointe through Hotelkingdom. Now I get to be really excited too!! :Pinkbounc I have done tons of research trying to find a good place for a good price, etc. I look forward to reading everyone's reports! :D

We stayed in Dec. We had a great time. They supplied 2 rolls of paper towels it was plenty for us. Two small pkg. of auto. dish soap. I made this last by using 1/2 pkg per load. We also had liquid dish soap (plenty in one small squirt bottle.) One small box of laundry soap on top of washer(it worked for us but I used it carefully). Each bathroom had bar soap, possible some shampoo, but I can not remeber. Winn Dixie is very close so you can get anything you need.

When I was looking for a place to stay in March I had it narrowed down to Cypress Pointe and Buena Vista Suites. The Buena Vista Suites had a free Breakfast Buffet and lot's of great reviews too but I decided I would rather have the 'Balcony' that the Cypress Pointe Resort offers instead! I love sitting out on a balcony on down-time.
Just wanted to share how I came to my decision...

Hi all. We Stayed at Cypress Pointe last year in a 2 BR. It is great for a smaller resort. We will be going back this year again Jan 25-29 and then Feb 19-27. My daughter is booked in for Feb 4-12. Can't comment on 3 BR as we are always in a 2. In a 2 the master is huge and rest of unit is as well. The 2nd BR is small with 2 Twins. It is close to everything. Have fun. Hotel kingdom prices are the best you can get usually unless you happen to get lucky on skyauction.

Hi

Chantal,

We booked our room in July 2004, for our trip January 28th - February 11th 2005.
Through Hotel Kingdom, we paid $84.?? (plus taxes) for a 3 bedroom unit at Cypress Pointe.
For the price we are paying and all the amenities, this was a great deal.

9 more days to go. . . . . :cool1:
