I just booked our package at CSR for Jan8-15 :goodvibes . I really wanted POFQ but they didn't have any availability. Will I love CSR? I'm sure I will. I'm just so excited to be staying on property. Last year was our first trip and we stayed off site. The house was fine, but I just felt like I was missing out on something.

Which buildings would be best for our family, me :earsgirl: , dh :earsboy: , and ds age 4 :earboy2: .

Thanks.

i stayed at CSR on the last trip - it was the third resort on property that i have stayed at and my favorite so far! I would be thrilled to go back if i wasn't so intent on trying a new place every visit. it was absolutely beautiful.
i don't even remember what building we stayed in but i do remember how grateful we were that we had a car cos it was a far walk to the lobby. you should probably ask them to put you close to the main building, or at least close to a bus stop.
have a wonderful time!!!

I love it! It is my favorite by far. Check out my website below for pics, links and plenty of CSR info. Have a great stay!

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge. Most convenient, most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building.

cabana 8b and 9a are inbetween the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool and is also a smoking optional building.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

The casitas are close to the gym, spa and have great fountains and courtyards. casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building. Casta 4 has a quiet pool.

I thought this was a slow time of year. Why wouldn't POFQ have any room?
I'll be at POFQ Jan 5-10. Now I'm worried.

I think they had rooms for the first part of the week (8-10), but during the middle to the end they were filled up.

We love staying in Casita #3. Beautiful courtyards and fountains. Short walk to the main buiding, close to a quiet pool and health club/spa. :cheer2:

We stayed there in June and loved it. The landscaping is gorgeous. The Pepper Market food is scrumptious!!!!

January 7th and 8th is the marathon weekend

You will have a great time. We have stayed at CSR 3 times and love it.

Just got back from CSR and will post a review when I rest up. We loved it! Stayed in Casitas 4 and used the quiet pool the whole trip. This is my 2nd stay there - last time I was in the Ranchos which was also nice. If I had kids with me, I would have preferred the cabanas over the Casitas. They're closer to the main pool and El Centro.

We always rent a car but we walked to the El Centro (the main building) quite a few times.

I am staying at CSR for the first time too, in July, after having stayed once at POR and once at WL. I can't wait.

For the most part, reviews have been excellent. Sure a few people don't like the convention crowd or the walking, but I don't think I will mind either. I like the fact it is more of a full-service hotel at a moderate price, with the health club and spa. I also like the theme.

Once I showed my 6 year old the pool and slide, he refused to stay anywhere else! (other than Poly, we are splitting our stay)

I am sure we will have a great time!

We love CSR! We've stayed in the Casitas and the Ranchos and we enjoyed both. The grounds are gorgeous and any walking you have to do goes by pretty quickly while looking at the scenery. :flower:  :flower:

We stayed in CSR, Casitas building #5. It was about a 5-10 minute to the main lobby/food court. The main themed pool was about a 5 minute walk. Same for the bus stop. The landscaping was gorgous. You'll have a great time, after all, you're at DISNEY
