There is no real check-in. When you first drive up, security gets your id and gives you a parking pass. For our condo, there was a lockbox right outside the door to get the key. The owner e-mailed me the code. That's it. Really simple. As for atmosphere, it is quite a large complex with condos, townhomes and pool homes. The "lobby" you see in the photos is the clubhouse. It has a lobby, a game room, a sundry shop, a sales office (if you are so inclined) and an exercise room.
Also, I want a place that will be fun for my DS(6)... I do not see photos of the kiddie pool... Is it just a wading pool, or does it have fountains, slides, or anything like that?
Nothing special there. Just a nice size pool. No slide or fountains. By DD 8 had a good time and all the other kids down to the infants all looked like they were enjoying themselves.
Their rates are incredible! $59.00 for a 2br. ( I have been looking at Marriot Grand Vista where a hotel room is over $100.00...) I think the very highest rate they show is $109.00 for a 3br during the Summer.
As stated, we paid $90/nite for a 3-br. It was actually $100/nite, but the owner gave us a 10% discount for paying in full when we booked in July. Because our stay was less than 7 nites, we did have to pay a $65 cleaning fee, but that would have been included for a 7 nite stay.
