Woohoo!!!! Doin the happy dance!!!! Just booked 2 sites for Christmas 2016. Early graduation present to my oldest. We have been to Disney twice at Christmas but never the fort. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. During booking I asked to have our reservations linked with my mother in laws so that we would be next to each other. They said they couldn't do that. They could only recommend it in the notes. That was the whole reason that I placed both reservations and paid both deposits. Said they couldn't have two reservations with the same address. How often do they accommodate your requests? I would hate to have them on the other side of the campground!

After reading some more here on the camping board I guess that is common practice to not be able to have sites next to each other. Oh well. I guess we will just hope for the best. We will be at disney after all!!!!

It seem like ya'll might have been talking past each other, sorta.

It sounds like you wanted a GUARANTEE that your sites would be next to each other. Unfortunately, the Disney reservation system considers each room/site individually except in rare occasions. By linking the reservations and noting the 2nd rez number on the 1st ressie and the 1st rez number on the 2nd, that is the way "next to's" are noted.

When the reservations download to the Fort about 5 days before arrival, the visa versa rez numbers will be noted and a CM will try to park you guys near each other.

Note it's not guaranteed, but the CM's make the effort.

I know it's not a guarantee. Just seems like I caught the cast member in a not so Disney mood when I called. She seemed pretty put out that she still had another half hour to go in her shift. Oh well. lol. I will call back later and see if we can link the reservations together. Now to get down to planning and see what other kind of mods to do to the camper in the mean time.
