Today I have confirmed our 5 Nov trip to DLP. We are staying for 4 nights at the Disneyland Hotel, Castle Club with a park view! It was DH's 40th bday and our 5th anniversary a couple of months ago but we did not celebrate as we had a new baby boy in July so life was hectic.

We are really excited to give our little man his first trip to a Disney park. We just couldn't wait for our WDW trip next May, we needed some Disney magic soon! Our DD who is 3.5 is very excited too!Cannot wait to get some character pics of them both.

We are delighted that the trip is costing us nothing as we have paid for the whole thing with our Tesco deal vouchers! Woo hoo!!

I look forward to reading lots of the posts here to gather information in the next few weeks. Yippee!!

Wat a wunderfull news but please keep in mind that there`s a great refurb going on.
It would be a shame if your window in covered with plastic.
Maybe its wordt to ask before you go.

How exciting! Can't wait to read about your experience. I am planning a trip for my husband's 40th in February and I plan to book the Castle Club.

Can I ask, what are Tesco deal vouchers?

I think she means Tesco clubcard vouchers.

I hope you both have a great trip. :)

Hi, OP here.

Yes I do mean Tesco Clubcard vouchers. You exchange them for Deals vouchers which you can then spend on a holiday or whatever from a company in the Tesco Clubcard brochure.

So glad we have the Tesco credit card, we have accumulated lots of points with it!

It is a shame Cresta/Bridge are withdrawing from the Tesco scheme. We would never spend the amount of cash required for this trip, but we don't mind 'blowing' our Clubcard points on it.

Thanks for the information! I hardly shop at Tesco, but would do for a near free holiday! I am always collecting Nectar Points which don't seem to amount to much.

Anyone know when that refurb sjaakie mentioned? Would hate to plan a special stay only to arrive and see all the windows covered.

Oh dear! i had no idea about this! Not too worried though, we have booked Park View- if we can see plastic sheeting instead of anything park like we will complain loudly!

But the location is what we wanted most.

I can't imagine they would have the cheek to charge some one the massive supplement for the park view for the window to be covered with plastic.

Oh dear! I never thought about what view to ask for? I am going to book tomorrow. What are the view options?

Thanks!

For castle club you can get a standard garden view or a park view, a park view cost extra I think about £90 extra a night. We booked castle club for next year and decided to stay for an extra night rather than book the park view.
