just booked boardwalk villa

At the 7 month window i have just booked a 2 bedroom standard view..whooohooo
Any ideas as to what the view would be??
Can't wait thats a week at Boardwalk and a week at AKLV

Have you stayed at either? We have not made it yet to the Animal Kingdom Villas, but we love being able to walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios from the Boardwalk! Have fun!

Standard views face the front driveway. Most upper floor rooms have a view of the fireworks from Illuminations.

imho, most BWV standard views (exception maybe being the "gutter view" ) are comparable to the some of the best views at other resorts

the front of the BW is beautiful, with a rolling lawn & colorful landscaping, a quaint bridge crossing the water (with many, many ducks ), the striking boardwalk archway (gives me goosebumps everytime ). the parking lots are beyond the water, with strategically planted trees & shrubber that shield you from a view of the lot.
if you are near the end (not sure if any of the coveted end units are 2 bdrm ), there is a set of stairs to bring you outside quickly & easily.
as debbie said, most upper rooms will have some fireworks view. (btw, congrats on getting a 2 bdrm SV at 7 months ~ that's great!!!)

OUr standard view was the 3rd floor, right near the horse shoe entrance. It was near the elevator, but at night, there were deliveries until almost midnight. We were happy to use less points and not have to walk down those long corridors, however, the deliveries were loud enough that we would have been awakened if asleep.
