Woohoo!! Finally!!!! Hubby and I were thankful when we were able to pull off an Adult only trip back in 2007! Never thought we'd be able to get away (ALONE) for a long time to come! But I have a wonderful Aunt who has offered to stay with the kids for a few days next May!!:yay:

I was hoping to book a 1 BDRM MKV at the BLT, but when I called MS yesterday (doing a cash reservation), they only had Studio MKV available...:sad2:.. (gee those 1 BDRM's booked up quickly)!!:confused3

If it were booked on points, I could "waitlist"....no such thing with cash res....I might be checking in with MS a few times in the next few months!;)

Wait....I don't care....either room will be fine....WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY...JUST THE 2 OF US!!:cool1:

(I'm just so happy - had to share my excitement with my Dis friends!);)

Have fun and enjoy always a nice break to reconnect when you can get away from it all, especially at the happiest place on earth!

a BLT studio is just the perfect size for a couple! You wouldn't need a 1 bedroom unless you're planning on cooking, and I know I don't cook on vacation.

Have a great time! BLT is wonderful!

Congrats and have a great time. Dh and I are doing the same thing in Jan. We went alone together in Sept of '08 and had a blast. Can't wait to go back together again. The best part last time was watching other people's children have meltdowns and saying, "it's not our problem". :lmao:

It's like a dream come true!!! Have a great trip :cool1::cool1:
Ohh...what a dream it is!! Only 8 more months!!

Haha!! Nope, no cooking....NEVER (not even when the kids come)!!:rolleyes1 And DH agrees with you, a studio will be fine for the two of us (I'm just gonna miss my king size bed)! Stayed in a 2 bedroom this past April....oh how wonderful it was!!;)

....and being able to do what you want WHEN you want....like sitting at the Outer Rim at 3 in the afternoon!:thumbsup2
I can't wait to hear about your Jan trip!! Only 5 months for you! The Holidays will be extra special for you this year knowing where you'll be a few weeks later!

As much as I love sharing DWorld with my family, my adult only trip with DH are awesome. We have been twice already and are going again in Nov. It is so relaxing with just 2 of us. Do what we want, when we want, eat in a relaxed mode, roam around Epcot lake area at night and just chill out! Happy trails!!:flower3:

hey don't forget TOW in your plans.

EWP is nice too - definitely old fashion but cute.

sending my DB and DSIL on their first trip to WDW since the kids were born - the oldest is 22 years old. So it has been a long time for them. they are celebrating their 25 anniversary.

Love the adults only trips. Enjoy yours....and many, many more! :thumbsup2

Congratulations!!!

Have a wonderful trip.

Regardless of studio or 1BR, you will be on a adult only trip to WDW and have convenient access to the monorail resorts/restaurants and a boat ride from WL/FW.

Warning, the self serve Dole Whips at the Poly are known to call out to monorail resort guests as they ride the monorail back from Epcot. :rotfl:

We were surprised to learn BLT has 38 dedicated 2BR and only 20 lockoff 2BR MK view rooms.

My husband and I are celebrating our 15th anniversary at Bay Lake Tower this October, 45 more days!! woohoo. I love being at Disney and even though its fun with the kids its SOO different when its just the two of you!

Since this is our first time at Bay Lake Tower and staying in a studio, does anyone else know if they have a washing machine?

Congrats on your 15th Wedding Anniversary!!:cheer2: Enjoy your stay!

I don't think there are washer/dryers in the Studios...only in the larger Villas. Laundry facilities are located on the first floor (I do believe).:)
