Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been watching fares for awhile and this is the best I've seen in a long time. We are flying Monday - Thursday but, if you fly Tuesday through Friday you can get a RT even cheaper. Hope this helps anyone out there.

P.S., is it bad that we went during Halloween, are returning for a quick no-kids trip on Saturday and now found this fare for January? No, I don't have a problem....

I just looked PDX to SNA Alaska Airlines Calendar Page shows air fares in January, February and first week of March for $65 one way.

Last year (2011) Black Friday Alaska Airlines had one way tickets PDX to SNA for $50.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. I am hoping to get a SEA to SD ticket end of Feb. Hope I can find a good price too.

Last year I got this deal and was waiting to see what they did today! Last year it was $40 each way but I'm still happy with $127 RT. I booked a valentine trip with 3 of my kids and booked another trip 2 weeks later with just my twin girls. I'm so excited. We are all going this Saturday for 10 days as well but will have to get annual passes to be able to go 10 days so we decided if we found good airfare we would take advantage of our annual passes.

If anyone booked and now finds that fares are lower, remember that Alaska allows you to get credit for the difference.

Thank you so much for a heads up!! I think we'll be able to squeeze one more trip in before our passes expire!

WOW! I thought our airfare of $1100 per person return was good. Well, we are coming from Australia! I so wish I could go to Disneyland that often. Very jealous. (and no, you don't have a problem!)

I jumped on that Alaska action yesterday too! Seattle to SNA.
You can't even drive for that cheap.

Thanks for the heads up! These prices made our trip affordable, we thought we'd have to skip it for something local.

HAPPY to say that even the Miles flights changed! I was able to get good flights for the miles we had, and we are leaving Friday. :cool1: so glad I checked one last time.

Were the air miles "Lowest Award" or "Award Sale" mileage rates? The Award Sale rates are nice. Have only found it once though. But I keep looking.

Have a fun trip

Oh gosh I'm not sure! The other day the flights that worked and showed up were 20k miles each way, and today the ones that showed up were 12.5k,o and that's what I needed.

Oh my.... 20K mile vs 12.5K is a BIG difference!

Congratulations

Best deal I ever got on a flight was $53 RT OAK-SNA on Alaska several years ago, including all taxes and fees. The route is gone (only Southwest serves that route now). I fiddled around with different outbound and inbound flights, and it generally went to $155 if the outbound flight wasn't one departing before 7 AM. I couldn't figure out why it was so cheap, and only if I made sure that specific outbound flight was in my itinerary.
