Just booked a quick trip for my Birthday 1/17-1/21!!!

I know that DVC is not meant for trips made on the spur of the moment but I felt like spending my Birthday in Disney.
I called today to see if there was anything available at AKV to arrive on 1/17 and depart on 1/21. I just wanted a standard view room. There is nothing for 1/17, so I booked the Allstar Music and then I arrive at Kidanai on 1/18. I am so excited, I have never done anything like this before but just felt the need to be in WDW for my BDay.
I was able to book with Usairways using my air miles, so everything just fell in place.

I just could not believe that there was a studio available, and flights that I like using my air miles. Here's hoping there will not be any snow storms to quash my plans.

I was just in WDW the beginning of Dec, I love going for the decorations. I had some points left that I was going to bank, but I decided to use them now. I just booked the Wishes dessert party for myself on the 20th I am doing that instead of a birthday dinner. Now I have to get the rest of my trip planned.

This is the first year since 2004 that I will not be spending my birthday at WDW/BWV. I have Jan 14-17 booked at my favorite SoCal destination ... a place I've been waiting 8 years to visit on my Birthday! Yeah! (Thank you, IBM, for moving those conference dates for me!!)

This is the first time I've gone to WDW for my b-day. I'm not that keen on flying in the winter, but I decided that I need to get over it. My sister and I went a fwe years ago in mid January. Fortunately the weather here was pretty good.

I just wanted a studio as well since I am going solo, for the 3 nights it was only 33 points and I had 62 left so I am quite happy.
