we just booked a trip for end of July and am trying to figure out our best days st each Park. It's a mon-thurs trip, with the 4 days/one Park tix. Since we can only visit each park once, which would you do each day? We are onsite and it is me, dh, ds15, ds13, dd13.

So excited!

I would avoid parks with morning EMHs. Check the EMH schedule to determine which park to visit. Usually MK is busier on Mondays as well. Visit a park that has EMH the day before.

Have fun planning!

I'd do:
Mon - DHS
Tue - AK
Wed - Epcot
Thurs - MK

But that assumes that you have a full day on the Thursday - if you're travelling home that day then that won't work.

Yeah we will be heading out Thursday late afternoon so hate to have that be our mk day (my fav!)

I'd do DHS on my short day- Thursday? It just seems like so much is closed down there right now. Of course, you'll miss out on the Star Wars fireworks if you aren't there until the park closes, but it seems like you'll miss the evening at one of the parks, so maybe that'll help you choose: Which nighttime show are you willing to give up? Are you flying or driving? If you are driving, is there any chance you could book one more hotel night, or stay offsite on Thursday night, so you don't have to make a decision?

I would attend the EMH for each park. In my experience, it doesn't affect crowding in the park for the rest of the day in a significant way. You'll get a lot done during those EMH, and the weather is mildest in the morning in summertime.

So there you have it. Compete, exact opposite advice. :tilt:

There has been an ongoing debate about whether to pick parks with EMH. Everyone has their own ideas about which is better. There is no right answer. For a while, most crowd calendar sites advised people to skip parks with EMH (and many still do). However, with more and more guests following this advice, the value of the advice has been diminished.

I started out avoiding parks with EMH, but I still often found myself in very crowded parks. My absolute favorite times to be in the parks are early morning, and late at night. If MK has evening EMH (and I think they usually do on Wednesdays in July), then I would choose that as my MK day. Evening EMH at MK are the best. That would also allow you to potentially book a PPO breakfast at MK (which you can't really do on a morning EMH).

When I am trying to do PPO breakfasts, then I specifically avoid parks with morning EMH because that negates the value of a PPO breakfast.

I would also do HS on my partial day. All of the other parks really require a full day.
