Just booked 12/17 - 4 nites...what do I need to know about Xmas stuff??????

Hi All,
Just booked a quickie trip for 12/17 - 4 nites at Royal Pacific (stayed there before and love it). This is an impromptu, kind of birthday surprise for our soon to be 11 year old (he turns 11 on 12/14). What do I need to know about Xmas decor, events, etc.?
