Finally! We've just boarded the Disney Magic!
Some random thoughts:

- Antigen test was doctored. Results took 40 min to arrive, and as there are few seats in the area where you wait for your results, queue moved in slowly. We queued maybe 1 hour outside.
- The whole embarkation process took about 150 mins for us, and we had an early PAT (11:15).
- PAT was enforced. We came a few minutes earlier and they let us in.
- We met guests at our hotel having a 11:30 PAT and they were really further down the queue, in the open sun. Take this into account if you board at Barcelona.
- Port told us about 1,300 pax. That's between 50% if all staterooms hosts 3 people, and 75% if all rooms hosts 2. If this figure is correct definitely not full at all.
- No port upgrades at all offered on this journey.
- We asked for a private table for dining and learned we were already granted one.

thanks so much, enjoy your cruise. Im on the Norwegian Fjords so will be following all the European cruises for as much info as I can.

When you get a chance would love info about embarkation day lunch, is there a spa raffle, what films are being shown and how Its A Small World nursery is working :)

Any chance you can try to find out how many will be on the sailing after yours? Selfishly curious since that’s our sailing 🤣

So excited the Magic is back to sailing the Mediterranean! We leave for Rome two weeks from tomorrow, and board the Magic the Friday after. Can't believe it's finally happening after canceling two summers. Keep us posted on how it goes!

Is everyone aboard now? Someone posted it took them 2 hours just to get inside the building and they estimated a further wait of an hour to two to be tested and board!

Lunch was served in Lumière's. We went to Cabana that was open until 15:15.

Spa raffle not listed on navigator, didn't go to check.

Will post a video of the navigator later, movies include Doctor Strange, Encanto, and others. If you have any specific feature in mind, tell me!

And last, a very good to those who needs it: “it's a small world” nursery is open, on appointment!!

Haha would try to inquire. Looks like we'll be on the same cruise as we're doing a B2B!

Sail-a-wave started at 5pm and the safety video a few minutes before that. So I would say they finally managed to get everyone on board without too much of a delay.

We're still docked in Barcelona and are waiting for our ship to depart. Visions of the Seas was leaving while the Sail-a-wave was performing, hopefully pilot will transfer soon and it will be good to go!

What night is Tangled being performed?

I’m curious if character M&Gs are still distanced & how pirate night is.

Have a great cruise!

I probably have the screenshot for yesterday as well, there were no signature shows.
Have a wonderful time!!
Thank you, we do have a wonderful time! :flower1:
Palo dinner yesterday evening, Palo brunch this morning, just completed the Chocolate & Liqueur Tasting and soon on the Mixology!

Did you get any sense of how many groups were turned away from the covid screening? We are spending a week in Rome before boarding and I'm a bit nervous about it.

DW told me from one of her FB group ~100 people were turned away. Someone she was exchanging with was denied. Said a lot of the positive cases were children.

Inside the ship a whole block of Deck 2 is blocked. The heavy metallic doors are closed with a scary message warning everyone not to dare think about moving them an inch.

When you have the chance, would you mind posting more screenshots/videos of the other days in the navigator? Thank you so much, and enjoy your cruise!

I’m not sure they do pirate nights in the Mediterranean. I know they don’t on the northern cruises - it’s Frozen.

Thanks for the update. 100 out of 1,300 isn't the best odds, but certainly a risk we were aware of when we booked. Everyone in our family has had COVID and are boosted (recently for the teens), so we will hope for the best. Life has been pretty much back to normal in Utah for a long time, with large concerts and other huge events, so it isn't as if we haven't been exposed many times over. Let's just hope the pre-cruise exposure isn't the week it catches up to us again!
