That is funny. I can just imagine the hilarity among the women in your family.

Isn't it funny how kids can outlast us? I used to have these bells that if it looked they weren't settling down on Christmas Eve that we would sneak out and ring them in a way that made them think they were hearing Santa's sleigh. It never failed to work.

Merry Christmas everyone. I slept till 8 this moring. Watched Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer (again) this morning and then DS and I woke up DH to open his gifts from Santa. He got a Lightning McQueen bath set that actually made him ASK for a bath

Dad had the Bayou Brass Christmas on is computers and burned a copy for me. So nice.

DS and I have already been run through the water and dressed. DH rushed us and he's still playing PS3, still in his sweats.

Did everyone get what they asked for from Santa?

I definitely did. I got a whole heck of a lot more than I asked for and I'm just right now.

It's not awful. I was gonna add that at the end of what I said but I didn't. I work tonight and get the same. It's why I actually enjoy working holidays be it Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any other.

The company he works for is really great for holiday pay. He was paid for Thursday even though he was off and gets double time and a half for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And he is working on New Years Eve which is double time and a half also so the paycheck for January 7 is gonna be bank. He works a 12 hour day too.

They got their double digits. When I went downstairs a few minutes ago they were all asleep. Well, Loren was in and out of sleep. but the girls were still sound asleep. The downstairs was so quiet I wasn't sure I was home.

We are going to wait until my brothers' girlfriends get here to exchange gifts though. My dog is passed out and snoring with his head on a pillow. He's having a good day too.

Among the girls on my Mom's side of the family, there was an oversized adult toy that got passed along. The hard part (no pun intended) was passing it along without the recipetent knowing the "gag". I don't know how my Mom got it, put she passed to one of my aunts for chrirstmas who then passed to another of my aunts the following christmas. The last aunt has a good sence of humor but is the more "prudish" of my aunts. I thought for sure she was going to pass it to my SIL at her bridal shower but it didn't happen. I don't know who has it now

I was off last night and tonight
