Yay! We officially have lights up on the house. Sure, Christmas is tomorrow but it's never too late.
All my cookies are done being baked!I smell delicious, I won't lie. Now I am going to make another batch of sea salt caramels, pack up some tins of goodies and flop down in front of the tv for some movies.
Are you enjoying your Christmas Eve?

Going to for sure watch The Bishop's Wife and The Homecoming(a Walton Christmas movie that I just love). We have slowly been getting through our stack of Christmas movies these last few days. We only have the super sappy ones left.
Relaxing sounds perfect, it does.
Too bad we'll be hitting the road soon. Although I plan on taking a very comfortable blanket with me.
I love the Walton's. I am so geeky like that.
Paula, it's OK!!
Michele, sounds like the scarf will all work out in the end and it gives you plenty of time to finish it.
OK, so I'm browsing through the big community board (which I do often because they get some amusing topics posted over there) and I just had to bring this one up here to see what you guys thing and/or have done:

Anyone Got any fun stories along those lines?
The Homecoming is my very favorite Christmas movie and I like to leave it to the last one on Christmas Eve. We are getting it ready now actually. It's just so sweet and heartwarming. "Mama, do you think I'm pretty?" "No Mary Ellen... I think you're beautiful".
Among the girls on my Mom's side of the family, there was an oversized adult toy that got passed along. The hard part (no pun intended) was passing it along without the recipetent knowing the "gag". I don't know how my Mom got it, put she passed to one of my aunts for chrirstmas who then passed to another of my aunts the following christmas. The last aunt has a good sence of humor but is the more "prudish" of my aunts. I thought for sure she was going to pass it to my SIL at her bridal shower but it didn't happen. I don't know who has it now.
for Paula. Look online for tickets to something he's in to. I'm sure you'll think of something.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas Eve. I'm trying to stay awake so I can wrap the Santa presents. DS is usually asleep by now, but he took two naps today. He may out last me.
She flew into Oakland. The fog there and back was ridiculous, but I have never once seen an airport as empty as it was when we got their to pick her up. Now the whole family is home safe and sound and ready for bed and Christmas in the morning!!
I'm utterly exhausted so I'll wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I hope you all have a great day tomorrow if I don't actually get to check in.
