My Dad always felt special when his house was TP'd. The time and effort is takes to do it properly means that who ever did it spent a lot of time out of their evening to decorate my dad's house.

Your dad had the right attitude. I just am ticked because I know it was directed at my girls but I am the one hurt by it. That is just wrong.

He does. So does my cat. She's been basking in our front yard ever since I put them up. She even "helped" while i was putting them up. Making sure the dangley part behaved until I got it in place. If it got out of line, she'ld give it a whack.

Does your mantel change with the seasons or is it bare after the holidays? The stockings turned out great. Judging by the number of stockings, I'll bet your christmas budget is a bit pricey.

Afternoon everyone!

I've been kinda of MIA the last little bit, but I am still here, honest! I've been reading, but haven't said much, cause it's so hard to keep up sometimes! Lol.

Hope everyones holiday seasons are going well so far. Not much longer now, only 12 days!

I've got most of my shopping done, with the exception of my Mom and a couple friends. Now I just gotta wrap everything. That's gonna take some time.

I am excited, cause starting at noon on the 24th, I am off work until Jan 3rd! Our shop closes down for the week in between Christmas and New Years, and it's so nice to have that week off. Both Dillon and I's parents are split up, so there are a lot of houses to visit in the holidays!

Your stockings turned out great merrydeath! Very cute fireplace!

Jazz, I am looking forward to the new Narnia movie as well, but I still have to see the second one! I know, I know, I am behind, but I have been waiting for Dillon as he still has to see the first one! So we are going to try and watch those, then go see the new one during our time off.

The one with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, right? Looks like I'll need to make a few trips to the theater!

OK, so funny story! I went out to breakfast with my friend and we ended up walking through the mall to do a little Christmas shopping. I picked up a pack of cards while at Disneyland but I needed some for immediate family (still Disney of course ) so we made a swing by the Hallmark store and guess who I ran into when I went to pay for my purchases? My mommy!! She was there buying me a Jim Shore figuring (Sleepy) that I had mentioned to her last night. Here I thought I was only getting my camera lens which I would have been more than happy with. I just have to pretend I didn't see it. You should have seen the look on her face when she saw me. Small world!!

I also stopped by Yankee Candle to pick up some holiday scented candles. I love their mistletoe candle!! It's wonderful. So I picked myself up a small one. I swear everything else was for other people, lol.

Hey Andrea! It's always great when you drop in, even if you don't always. You and Dillon should totally have a Narnia movie marathon, lol.

I wish I could get time like that off around the holidays! It's a big reason why I'm going back down to Santa Monica to see Jason. He was a lot of time off around then and he took a few more days off as well. So this time we'll have a lot more time together since he wont be working on the weekdays.

It's good that both you and Jason get some time off for New Years. Sounds like you need the break, and it's nice be able to spend more time together over the holidays. Hopefully you have all that car rental stuff figured out so you can have a worry-free time!

The good news is we can hold on to the rental as long as we need to, but once insurance coverage maxes out at $450 (which we think will be around Christmas day) we have to cover the $21.50/day. So the sooner we get the whole car situation settled with our insurance company the better. I want to go car shopping!
