Our Thanksgiving yesterday was pretty funny; about half of us were coughing.

Sooo I put together an ipod playlist for our drive to Anaheim on Saturday. It's 6 hours of Christmas music I have the Glee Christmas album, the Elf soundtrack, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Perry Como, Jimmy Buffetrotfl, and Celtic Woman. It should be an interesting drive. If that doesn't get us in the Holiday mood, then I don't know what will!!

Yay! I can't wait to go on mine. I might be packing right now...

My poor DH missed out on a lot. On the first day, he opted to play in DTD and see the new Harry Potter movie and window shop. The next day, he stayed in the hotel until 5pm with a minor cold/sore througt. The last two days he was stuck in the hotel becauses of a swollen ankel. He's not that much into the magic, but he did want to see WOC, F! and Aladdin. I did take some pictures of F! and get some video of Aladdin but I was too cold to take some video of WOC, my DS was shivering in his stroller so I put my sweater over him like a blanket which left me with now arm warmth. I don't think I could have gotten good video of it anyway, we were too close for me to get a good shot, I don't have a wide angel lense.

I wasn't sprained, just swollen and hurt like hell to walk on. He thinks it's because he was stuck in one postion for a long period of time (the car ride) and playing in DTD only aggrivated it.

I'm getting ready to brave a trip to Costco. oh, how I loathe-love that store. I have to pick up my Xmas cards, today's the last day of the $5 off coupon. Costco beats the pants off Shutterfly/Snapfish/etc. when it comes to Xmas card prices. They don't have as wide a variety, but they do have some pretty cute ones. I was happy to see they had more multi-photo options this year. Then I think we'll see Tangled at 11:30.

Hey Everyone, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and a wonderful weekend.

Welcome back Goofy Mum.

Merrydeath, we leave in two weeks and have also started to pack. We have filled one suitcase with Christmas presents and candy to take home. I got a bit carried away and wrapped all the presents. We'll have to wait and see if customs in Aus makes me unwrap them all!

I have had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of days.
Thursday - finally saw the new Harry Potter movie. I wasn't wowed by it, certainly not my favourite of the movies, but I can't wait for the next one.

Friday - went with my friend and her two boys to see Tangled. Loved it. It's hilarious.

Friday - Canucks beat the Sharks. Woohoo.

Saturday - was our 11th wedding anniversary. I took hubby out for breakfast and then he took me out for dinner. We don't normally spend a lot of anniversary gifts, cause it's so close to Christmas and hubbys birthday. We normally base our gifts round the "traditional" gift list. For our first, paper - I gave him a bulk thing of toilet paper, he gave me a book. Second, cotton - I have him flannel bed sheets, he gave me pyjamas. This year the 11th, is steel. I have him a pair of scissors, so he stops pinching my sewing scissors! He gave me a iphone 4. Not steel, but he decided it was time I had one.

And today? Housework. The inlaws are coming this week, so we can have Christmas with them before we leave for Australia. Right now you can't even see the spare bed let alone sleep in it.
