I JUST GOT ACCEPTED INTO DESIGN SCHOOL

Two days off work!

Today was really busy with last minute holiday hairdos. Also a relaxer. Smelly.

My family is doing Thanksgiving on Friday, so tomorrow I am going to brunch with a friend and then we might go see Harry Potter or 127 hours(eek).

I feel so much more human today. My head is finally becoming unstuffed so that I can breathe a little better.

And hey, who in California turned the temperature down?!? My grass was crunchy and there was frost on the roof this morning. Brrrr.

Oh my gosh that is so wonderful!!

Two days off work!

I am so glad you are feeling better. And yeah we had a low of 30 here this morning. That was just awful.

Yesterday I just finished reading all 7 books again. I haven't seen Deathly Hallows yet, hopefully this week.

Of the books, Order of the Phoenix was the one I liked least.

Of the movies the GoF was probably my least favourite. The 4th film was directed by Mike Newell. I thought the focus of the book was about the rise of evil and the small group who believed and resisted. Whereas the focus of the movies seemed to be teenage romance and the winter ball. The darkness really didn't appear until the last twenty minutes of the movie. I think the 4th movie was butchered!

You and I agree pretty much. I thought in Half Blood Prince they focused too much on the teenage angst.

Try -40 guys! We've had crazy cold weather here. We sometimes get that cold in Feb, but usually not this early. Brrrr! And it's supposed to be only -6 tomorrow (21 f) which is gonna get a lot of people sick I think with the drastic change!

I know I'm incredibly spoiled as a Californian. I definitely wouldn't last a second in your weather, I've never been in anything close.

Try -40 guys! We've had crazy cold weather here. We sometimes get that cold in Feb, but usually not this early. Brrrr! And it's supposed to be only -6 tomorrow (21 f) which is gonna get a lot of people sick I think with the drastic change!

Yeah we normally are at around 40-45f but this week have been having 30's, that for us is really cold. I don't envy your cold at all.

I can barely last in my weather, and I've been here all my life, lol. It does get pretty bad sometimes. It sucks when you're not sure your car will start, and if it does, it sucks that you have to run it for 15-20 minutes before you can take it anywhere. Waste of gas!

Sometimes I envy you, but after the cold rain we had in DL, I am not sure which I rather, lol.

I am not a summer person.

I can barely last in my weather, and I've been here all my life, lol. It does get pretty bad sometimes. It sucks when you're not sure your car will start, and if it does, it sucks that you have to run it for 15-20 minutes before you can take it anywhere. Waste of gas!

Oh I don't mind the rain as much as I do the fog. Oh the fog can be so depressing. At least with rain there is a chance of sun. But, your kind of cold forget it!! I do not know how you all survive with seat heaters and all that stuff.

It's difficult sometimes, but when you grow up in it, you kind of get used to it. -40 is really hard to get used to though. But in the winter time, I try to spend as little time outside as possible, lol. The one good thing I like about cold weather over rain, is that once you are inside, it's usually pretty quick to warm up if it's just cold. If it's raining, then you're wet and chilled to the bone. I don't like fog either. Believe it or not the last couple days have been clear and sunny. But somehow still -40. Don't ask me how that works!

Boot camp the last 3 mornings has been fun NOT. This morning I had so many layers on I looked like the Michelan Man. Seriously I had more clothes on that when we go skiing.

It's supposed to snow again tonight, I am seriously considering not getting up tomorrow and skipping boot camp altogether. But I'll know I'll be mad at myself if I do.

No clouds mean nothing to keep the warmer air in so while it may look nice and feel nicer in the sun as soon as the sun goes away it gets REALLY cold cause the warm air dissipates into the atmosphere.
