I know the feeling. Not much going on today. I have a disc of The Closer to watch so I can send it back to Netflix. Other than that I have no idea. I do have plans with a friend tomorrow for breakfast and maybe a movie.

Sounds like a good day to catch up after your wonderful weekend. My days are usually filled with running around after everybody. I hurt my knee weeks ago and I never went to the dr. Stupid me, it has been hurting and it is swollen so I am living from motrin to motrin.

Hey ladies, I had a busy weekend so didn't log in much. Didn't keep on this thread at all.....LOL Saturday we ran some errands and cleaned a bunch of our houseplants so we could bring them back inside. Most of our plants live outside in the summer, they thrive on the back patio under the sun shade so they are always dirty and buggy when we bring them back in. lol Normally we bring them inside in October but this year we waited, we probably could have waited longer actually but decided it was a good idea to do it over the weekend. So we washed those off and debugged them. lol Saturday night we celebrated my BFF's bday, dinner at Chevy's, her bro's for cake after and then we went out dancing in Davis....went to our "regular" place (the place I met my DBF and she met her DH lol) and danced the night away. Too much fun!!!!!! Yesterday DBF and I went to place in the marina on Main Street in Suisun, there's a place there that does champagne brunch (all you can drink champagne, mimosa's or cider) so we went there for brunch, I had eggs benedict and about 3 mimosas. LOL DBF had a bay omelet (crab, shrimp, mushrooms, cheese, etc) and about 2 mimosas, our total was $30. If we hadn't had other errands to do we probably would have stayed and had more champagne! LOL Well OK I would have stayed and had more champagne. DBF was driving so he would have stopped at 2 either way. Then we went to a couple of pet stores, one had puppies and kittens and OMG I wanted to buy them all and bring them home with me. So sad that they live in these little cages all alone. They had the cutest little Pappilion....I wanted her sooooooooooo bad. After the pet stores we came home, grabbed Panda Express and ate dinner, it was yummy. So far today the weather is great but it's super windy. I need to pull something out of the freezer for dinner too but still trying to figure out what. No big plans for today tho, returning some books to the library and maybe going to Petco, I want to try to find some more kitty toys for Tigger, he's so cute and playful but we have hardly any toys for him.

I have a terrible time at the pet store. I want to take all of the animals home. Or at least a majority of the fur ones.

Sounds like you had a busy weekend. I am not much of a plant person, so you are way ahead of me on that. I do think next spring Loren and I are going to plant a vegetable garden. I so prefer fresh veggies.

Good morning! I stayed up too late knitting. Once I get excited about something, I can't stop Managed to pull myself away eventually though. Will probably pick up the needles again in a little bit. I did so many things yesterday that I can't think of what I would need to get done today.

POST 700!! Just sayin'.

I'm making a "market bag" right now. One of those mesh sort of bags that stretches a lot. I'll be giving at least this one(I might make another) to give to my brother and his girlfriend for Christmas. She is really green and wants everything to be reusable, so I figure they'd appreciate them the most. I told myself I wasn't going to do any Christmas knitting this year(since that is all I did last year), but I'm obviously fickle.

I know. I am the same way. My kids all want piercings for Christmas. It is just not the kind of thing I want to give. I don't mind it not thrilled with it but I would rather give them something else for Christmas and let them get pierced after the holidays. KWIM?

Naughty Boards wouldnt let me logg in yesterday......so I missed heaps.
I just caught up.....too much to quote...but it was all very interesting.

I also couldnt believe how cheap your glasses are. I just got multi focals, and they cost me $500.....they were the cheapest I could find!!! There is no where online to buy them here either

I love Costco too. I have a friend in San Diego who played chauffeur for us last year. He drove us arround for the day & we went shopping and lunch & then he took us to Costco. What an amazing place....I could have spent hours there. The funniest thing was frozen. boiled peeled eggs!!!!! I still laugh when I think of them!!!

Sooo agree. My office room is all movie/disney/hollywood stuff decor. I have four pictures/posters of him, all in frames. I have one of him as a pirate, but it's not yet in a frame so he's left in the garage with the rest of my posters until I can get a worthy frame.

I registered for classes. Three online general ed classes (yippie) My last English class, political science, and computer science. The bummer is I don't qualify for fincacial aid cause they base the income on last years taxes, I was working last year so as a family we made too much money to qualify. The good thing is the total for all three classes is only $234. But I still have to buy books.

My daughter Kody used to have a life size cardboard cut out of Capt Jack Sparrow. She would keep him in her doorway and if you glanced over your shoulder in the bathroom mirror you would see him watching you. It startled me more than once.

I so prefer to take classes online. It is so much easier, you don't have to worry about the cost of gas going back and forth, or having to find a parking place. Or the cost of childcare for that matter.
