It was MUCH better. Almost absurdly. I went to work an hour later, and then from 30 minutes after that until the end of the day I was super busy. No chance to eat lunch, so I am scarfing down some Gorgonzola gnocchi right now.

DH is doing well. I am playing nurse and have him on a regular med schedule and cold pack circulator thingie regimen. The cold pack is this machine that you fill with ice and bit of water, plug in and attach - it circulates ice cold water on his shoulder. He needs rest right now, and then when physical therapy starts -that the surgery was successful and he regains movement/use.
And work. But we wont mention that.

Not a chance. He's happy to visit but doesn't want to move. We get home about every 2-3 years and I try and show him a little more of the country each time. He's spent time in Cairns (I have an eccentric great aunt who lives there - that was an interesting visit!), Hamilton Island, Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong, Lorne, Mt Martha, Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Perth and Freemantle and of course quite a bit of Tasmania. Where we go is determined by what airfares are on sale!

DS17 is getting off for lunch (he works at a grocery store, thus the odd hours) and is coming over for some enchiladas and some of the fight. Just a chill night in the house

We were supposed to go to my DH's Aunt's house for the fight (boxing PPV - Pacquiao vs. Margarito) tonight, but that is not happening due to my poor invalid husband. I surprised him and ordered it - he is so happy right now! He'd been watching the preview specials obsessively the last few days. One of our friends bought over enchiladas and salad, so we're all set for dinner

I've seen that last 3 Twilight films on opening night, it's crazy. Like sitting in the theater line for 2 hours before it starts
