Well, I hate to say it but I am tired.

Goodnight!!

Hello all. I'm feeling tons better. Hubby made me stay home in bed all day so that this cold would go away.

It seems like the cold is a worldwide thing right now

I'm blessed with a fairly strong immune system. I don't get sick very often, maybe once a year. I turn into the biggest baby when I'm sick. I don't like it:confused3 I feel so useless when I'm sick.

Ugh me too, I have had tonsil problems over the past few months so I have been whinging so much :sad2:

Okay,so I have just caught up on 56 pages of chat. Does anyone in this thread ever sleep. I'm not sure if I remember everything correctly so please excuse me if some of my comments below are not correct...

Michele, how is you dog doing? I hope her ears are better?

Jazz, any word on the car yet?

Tink91, I grew up in an Aussie Rules state. I still want to take my DH to a game at the MCG, but we always come home in the summer so no footy games. I am taking him to a cricket game this trip. Just a twenty20 match, he'd be too bored by a one day game or a test.

My name is Rachael, and in Australia pretty much everyone shortens in to Rach, but here everyone uses the full Rachael, although Canadians & Americans tend to spell it Rachel. My brother is Shaun, and we all call him Fred. Don't know why.

I played the flute for 6 years. It's so not a "cool" instrument. I can't sing. I wish I could sing and play guitar.

I took ballet lessons three times a week from 4 until 13. Then my ballet instructor told my parents that I had to choose between track and field and ballet because athletics was giving me "legs like oak trees". It was not a compliment!

I was in great shape until my mid twenties. Then I moved to London, gave up exercise, and ate a lot of junk. I actually kept the weight off for a couple of years, then it caught up to me. Now I need to lose about 60lbs. I've lost 15 so another 45 to go. I just finished a 4 week bootcamp, and Friday is our testing day - we get weighed and measured and all that fun stuff.

Okay I'm going to bed now.

Trust me it sounds a LOT better than it was.:sad2:

I was hoping for a "fun" night with some interesting things to buy...but alas no it was really expensive stuff that you could buy in any dept store!!!

I only lasted an hour!!

I am all caught up but on my phone so no replies :)

Get well soon/keep the sickies away vibes to all of you.

Right now I'm sitting in the surgery center waiting room. DH is about 90 min into his surgery. I went to get breakfast, I got one of those breakfast sandwiches from Subway - it was pretty good. And only 160 calories :)

Happy Friday US peeps and happy weekend Aussie peeps!

I'm going in to work an hour later today, otherwise I would be on the road right now. It was soo slow in the salon yesterday that we all had a forced half day. I guess too many people were out enjoying their day off for the holiday, we'll see if today is any better. Right now I'm still in my pjs and am enjoying a large cup of tea.

I'm still in my PJ's, too. But I'm going to hop in the shower and go to the gym. I wonder if I can talk hubby into going to Caswell state park for a little hike with the kids.

I wish I was still in my PJs:rotfl:

Surgery is done and now just waiting for him to wake up - and take him home.
